Description: The Yes Men bring attention to the 20-year anniversary of the night of death Union Carbide wrought in Bhopal, India, by tricking BBC News into interviewing one of them under the guise of a Dow spokesman. (Dow purchased Union Carbide 10 years ago, assuming all its legal woes.)

Watch the short-film documentary on the Bhopal disaster. The Yes Men are a group of "culture jamming" artists/activists. They undermine traditional media reporting through various hoaxes in which they practice "identity correction." by pretending to be powerful people and spokespersons for prominent organizations and corporations. Sometimes they use props as part of the ruse. In this famous clip, The Yes Men tricked the BBC into thinking that a genuine Dow representative was apologizing for Union Carbide's disaster at Bhopal and promising victims a just compensation.
