    actually i beleive in tasers totally... but what they did was illegal you have every right to call someone to tell them you were pulled over, just like you ahve the right to call 911 when a cop is chasing you to tell them you dont feel comfort pulling over on that certain street which is perfectly legal. he abused his powers and didnt give her full rights.

    I cant have any sympathy for an unlicensed driver who doesn't listen when she's clearly in the wrong. It may have been a little excessive but unlicensed drivers cost the rest of us millions of dollars a year. She should have tried to cooperate as much as possible since she didn't have a license.

    He abused his authority! She said that she was calling someone to let them know that she had gotten stopped; he was supposed to let her finish her call! And once she was tazed once he shouldn't have tazed her again because she was in pain and shock and couldn't immediately comply with putting her hands behind her back! A lot of cops abuse their power and position and they make the actual good cops look bad!!!

    I think the point of the Taser was missed. The officer says it about 3/4 the way through the video. Teh driver became violent and took a swing at the other officer (goes to pasenger side). Notce, when the second officer comes up to the back of vehicle he QUICKLY changes direction as if he knows something is wrong... thats cause the driver had become combative prior the video start. Now, this could be because the video wasnt turned on soon enough OR do to "deliberate" editing... you decide....

    The thing is this woman was on the phone, telling the person on the other end, regardless of who she says shes it is, the location where they are. The person on the other end could be ANYONE and could potentially harm the officers and others in the general vicinity....they where only protecting themselves.....

    What a stupid drama queening cow, it doesnt hurt for more than 30 seconds and she was moaning for 6 minutes! I think its good that she got that treatment and maybe next time she will actually do as she is told. wish police were like this in england, maybe then we wouldnt have so much disrespect for the law.

    The woman was not doing anything wrong. She has the right to talk to anyone she wants. The police were way out of line. I hope they were reprimanded for that. I think that the Taser is a bad idea. Who knows of the serious medical implications they can cause? This video is just another example of the stupidity of police in the United States. I am glad that our police are not quite so bad.

    As a former cop, I conquer with the decision to use the Taser. Note to Motorists: (1) You do not have the "right" to become combative (Verbally or Physically) with a Law Enforcement Officer. (2)You do not have the "right" to casually end your cell phone conversation when given a direct order by an officer. (3) the woman was not "Tasered" for suspended D.L...she became combative, (i.e.)swung at the passenger side officer. (Stupid.) Nothing illegal happended. Now you try doing a "ride-along"... just for a weekend, in any major city. You will come away with a new point of view.

    So, two big male police were afraid of a women swinging at them? That is very sad. It does not say much for the police. All it shows is what a bunch of big babies the police really are. I have thought that for a long time. Thanks for proving it. Maybe the police should be issued pacifiers. Police in Toronto are not allowed to have Tasers because people are against it, and this video just shows why. Police do not know how to use them. Just like they don't know how to use their pistols either. I'd like to see those taken away from police, too.

    omg who ever agrees with this video is sick, people have all the right they want to let someone know that they have been pulled over and that they dont feel safe. I feel he had no right to open her door she was on the phone its not like she had a loaded gun pointed at him. I do believe that the officers were racist.. NO QUESTION ABUSE OF AUTHORITY

    She was warned again and again, but carried on completely ignoring the officers orders. Although the use of a Taser was a little on the extreme side - she could have easily been restrained physically - she deserved what she got. A person with such total disrespect for the law could easily turn violent or pull a gun.We can't expect cops to take chances with their lives.

This wouldn't have happened if she was white, because if she was white she would have listened to the cops. I bet after seeing this if you get pulled over you obey the officer!, and if you don't I hope you get tased and I get to watch the video on ifilms.

    Who ever agrees with this is ridiculous. It's all cool until it happens to you. That was unnesessary. He even said he is going to tase her if she didn't get off the phone. Therefore, he tasered her because she didn't get of the phone - NOT BEING COMBATIVE! Excessive force.

    listen It is not cool to taser an unarmed woman who doesn't pose a threat except for using a cell phone! in these days you can't trust no one! cop or civilian.This video demonstrates excessive force to innocent people, come on people if that where a family member of yours would you agree with the actions of these officers? This young lady as you all could hear was afraid and was letting whoever was on the phone know the situation. I mean seriously if she would have gotten out the car and started fighting with the cops then I could see the officers taking excessive force for their on protection! ladies agree with me, if two males stopped you would you be okay even if they where officers!     Once you are pulled over and given a direct order from a police officer, you are to obey. The lady made her situation worse by not listening, all she had to do was ask after the police officer was done talking to her. He probably would have let her call the person back before getting arrested. Instead she talked back, and did not listen, the officer was probably not even going to take her to jail in the begining. Just do what the officer tells you to do. Its sad to see that most of you are probably 15 years old and still dont understand to do what your told. The police officer was in the right.

    I agree with her getting tased the "first time," she was combative and uncooperative. When a cop gives an order, obey it first and file your complaint later.



    If you challenge the police on the street, you will lose!! Common sense...police are not in the negotiating business when it comes to traffic stops because that is where most cops get shot. It would never cross my mind to question their authority on the street because I know the deck is stacked against me. But I know I have more power with a good attorney in the court room civil suit than at the curb side.



    I do not agree with her being tased the second time. She was sufficiently subdued enough to be cuffed very easily...that was wrong.



    As for race, I have one male friend and one female friend who were tased in two separate incidents and both of them were white...so were the cops, too.



    Let's not comment on the motives of these two cops, none of us have any personal knowledge as to their character based on a couple minutes of film. Only pea-brained people make assumptions when they don't have all the facts.

    this one the intial tazer was deserved if she infact took a swing, i personally think that he didnt need it but it was justified, but the second one was a lil much, think they gotta learn to use those.

    I have seen first hand what cops will lie and say to justify the actions they take.

    Cops are human and they seem to forget that fact.

    You tase someone and then want them to be civil.

    And to the idiot known as sliverpix, she did not swing at the cop she pulled her arm away from the cop who was illegally pulling her from her vehicle.

    Also, the ends does not justify the means they did not know her license was suspended before they tasered her, so in essence she had broken no law.

    When cops abuse there power regular people lose faith in cops.

    Bottom line: The cops were wrong and should be punished.

    Quick note to Iowatrooper911 when good cops protect bad cops it makes them bad cops. Are you a bad cop?
