    Mr. Pronunciation... thank you for the edit on your previously sincere, but misguided / erroneous pronunciation lesson about "Van Gogh". As I stated earlier, you were right about the "f"-ish pronunciation of the "v", but wrong about "ock", as your fine Dutch friend so aptly points out. It's more like "hoch", with the final "ch" being soft, like a hard "h"... almost like the sound you make when you're getting ready to spit. Also, thanks for DELETING my rebuttal, making it look like nobody corrected you. Well, I corrected you! Ha! Now everybody knows!
