Nugent's 15 minutes were up several hours back. He's a self-imposed exile/outcast who's more content raising and hunting down his wildlife than dealing with the public or getting involved in politics so let him keep it that way and go back out into the woods never to be heard from again.

Lets see. One duly elected US Senator should "suck" (as in perform oral sex, one would presume) on a large-caliber weapon. Another should "ride" (as in penetrate oneself sexually while sitting on the object) the same gun.
Sex and weapons appear to be linked in his mind. Seems a little disturbed to me. Evidence of tendencies that could easily produce some sort of sexual violence (at a minimum to women and minority groups) - someone who should probably be viewed and labeled as sexually dangerous.

The right to bear arms was granted "in order to have a well armed militia". We have one...The US Armed Forces. There's no need for guns other than compensating for a small c0ck.

Americanbornpatriot... while you are certainly entitled to your views, you need to at LEAST understand that history of this great country you proffess to love so much. You said (and I quote)

Now correct me if I'm wrong... but didn't our forefathers create the constitution? And didn't they, while making our constitution, create separation of CHURCH and STATE? Which essentially means from the beginning that God was removed from our government, and NEVER intended to be a part of it. We were granted freedom of religion, in order to worship or not as we saw fit.
If you want more truth.. read the book called "Aint nobodies business if you do" It actually espouses many of the same views that Ted and others rave about. The right to do whatever you want with your person and property, without government interference. The problem arises when someone does something that makes you uncomfortable. The point here is they did believe in God .. it's written everywhere even on our coins ... this basic belief was always part of the fiber and strength of who we were and and we conducted our business .. erosion and denial of this .. our morals and family has proceeded to greatly weaken us to point where one day the wheels will fall off. It's lack of respect that family and God brings to our being and respect for one another as "brothers and sisters" that is causing many to rob and kill and cheat .. to the point of where a GUN becomes just another tool of a misguided individual .. had we not guns.. this type of individual would set about finding the next most useful tool for his evil purposes ... maybe a KNIFE .. good luck outlawing that! ... I am NOT particularly HAILING Ted Nugent here! ... altho' do salute a part of what he is about maybe not how he goes about it .. He at least stands up for what he believes in .. how many of us blindly follow and are too busy in daily concerns to say a word for fear of not being heard or that it will be too small a voice to be heard. I can see a much bigger picture here of where we are headed and I fear for my childrens future .. As this countries inner strength erodes we become weaker to outside influences ... as if our basic immune system is becoming weak and now we are at the mercy of viruses. ONE nation UNDER GOD .. there is a strength in those words of unity and morality .. without this we become divided .. splintered .. vulnerable from the inside .. OUT!

The essence of the laws in the Bill of Rights are to protect the people from the tyranny of the government. If you read the first ten amendments of the constitution, this is the recurring theme. The framers of the constitution were responding to what they had experienced under the hand of government. There is a big difference between an army and a militia. The armed forces we have now are controlled by the central government. Militias back then were organized by local governing bodies to protect the people when the army were not.
I would like to believe that our present way of life, our country with all its freedoms, would last forever. Has it not always been throughout history that governments, even civilizations, rise and fall?
I am a law abiding citizen, 40 years old, never been arrested. I believe in the sanctity of life. I don't call myself a democrat or a republican, I vote my conscience when it comes time. I also believe in my right to own firearms, not to protect myself against the tyranny of government, but to protect myself when the law cannot.
While I hope my government, the one that protects my rights, does not disintegrate during my lifetime; there are no guarentees. History has showed us this time and time again. Excuse me Paladin, but I must correct you as you suggested. The founding fathers never used the phrase "separation of church and state" nor did they even elude to such. They stated very simply, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." They never said that God should be removed from public life or that our goverment and leaders should shun or forget all about religion. They believed very strongly in the creator and his importance to freedom. Remember ever reading the line "...that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"? Well, those were words from the Declaration of Independence. More history lessons available if necessary.

So... the problem is the lack of respect coming from a god-fearing life?
Is that why the divorce rate is highest in the states that are largely "christian" and right-wing identifid. Is that why the divirce rate is LOWEST in teh blue states, including gay-marriage-rights Massachusetts?
I thought poverty and a growing sense of despair was the cause of killing and stealing - a lack of education and an over-reliance in mind-numbing entertainment rather than enlightening discourse.

This is directed to J242. From your comments I can tell you obviously do not know much about Ted or how much he does for the homeless and hungry around the world. Yes, he is a hunter. i think this may be one of the things that make you dislike him. You probably did not know that he hunts for conservation purposes most of the time? He helps to keep populations of certain animals in check so that they all have enopugh to eat and stay healthy. Much of the meat he harvests is donated to feed the hungry. he does this around the world. he could very easily take the liberal's way out and just write a check while pressuring beauracrats to keep the homeless away from them and their property. Ted get out on the streets with them and makes sure something is being done.

Yeah, I believe in being real too. To me that infers dealing with this great thing we have called life in the here and now, and not living with half of our heads in some dualistic fantasy-land. Just because someone wrote a book about the ETs living in Nevada or Dayton doesn't mean it's real. It's fine if some imbecile publishes a book about how to assassinate Bush, it's great if Michael Moore goes to Cuba to tout their medical care, but God forbid... wait, I forgot God wasn't politically correct... Get a grip, kids. Like it or not, there are a whole lot more of us than there are of you. The squeaky wheel doesn't get the grease, it gets replaced. Separation of church and state? Nope. Here's an example. The U.S. Government should not, per the Constitution, prefer one religion over another. It doesn't mean there is no room for religion, but no religion should be state-sponsored. You can worship Gunga Din, Barney the dinosaur, Jesus, God, Allah, or whoever. "In God We Trust" is pretty generic.Pick one, or pick none, your call. Fund the support of whichever with your own cash, not tax dollars. THAT is separation of church and state. Just common sense, people.

Separation of church and state means that there should be no state sponsored religion, yes. That is the difference between us and theocratic states such as those in the middle east where there are mandatory religious services. And while not in the constitution, in his private letters to other heads of state in europe, etc... he expressly stated "The country of the united states is in no way based on religion" That is never saying that the men leading this country cannot have faith. In fact I believe that belief in something.... even if that be just a moral code, is essential for good character.

It seems to me that the country is falling apart because the leadership of it as of right now thinks they can act like God, and get away with it. Well, maybe thats why his approval rating will be below 25, and maybe even below 20 percent before he gets out of office. The leader of Iran isn't afraid of us at all, and that is why they are such a threat. He feels he has no reason to fear us, because he knows most of us dont back our own president because he, and mainly the people surrounding him have no soul and their hearts are black. As for the Nuge, I love the Nuge on the guitar, otherwise he just needs to shut it. You know Ben Franklin warned against a two party system? Because he knew if we had one, we'd be choosing between shit and shit that has flowers growing out of it ? Just something to think about..... I like Obama though, he seems to have some balls on him. Something that I can't say for very many presidents. Oh and by the way, The Nuge did this when I saw him too. So I think he does this every show, I hope no one besides Evangelical Christains listents to him, because there is 30 million of those. heh. Probably why Bush got elected. Paladin, I will correct you, No the Constitution does not seperate God from government. What it does try to do, is not let the Church become the government. Because in England the Church had become more powerful than the government and was actually running the country. Our country was built on God , now the foundation is greed, we need to get God back into our leaders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hello i am the guy who origially video taped the "ted nugent goes off on obama in california" rant seen on livelink. it was 8-22-07 at the feather falls indian casino in oroville,ca i posteded it on youtupe.com the following night under the youtube username KEVDOGEDOG if you get a chance look it up and see the companion video clips i posted there (1 where he welcomes the troop and states hes in oroville,ca). it was then upload to liveleak.com by another person and then it made the rounds onthe web and tv. i saw ted talking to glenn beck last night on hnn cable channel i just want to make sure people know when the clip was shot and by who. anyway thank you for your time i did enjoy looking at yur website today.

It's pretty funny that left-wing democrats are so afraid of people like Ted , and many,many like him who speak out for the freedom of the Second Amendment, or those who support the NRA. Only Dictators make it their life long goal, to try to disarm the general populace.
