Yeah, they've risked their lives so the kids won't be buried in mass graves. They've busted their asses rebuilding schools that Hussien turned into ammo chaches. They've toiled endless hours getting the Iraq power grid to a point beyond it ever was under the dictator. But 2 of them tease some kids so you paint all of them with the same brush. I thought you panty-wastes decried generalizations. I guess it doen't apply if you are doing it. You worthless whiners!

Fucking A I'm judging this. Think they shouldn't be disciplined for this? You think their behavior doesn't hurt the image of the U.S. military (and the U.S. in general), threaten the mission and put the lives of U.S. troops and innocents further at risk? Gestapo apologists who'd make excuses for this make me sick. Cops protect the neighborhood, so they deserve to beat up someone they don't like without getting arrested, right? A politician worked a late night planning the year's budget, so they should be able to take a little cut off the top? Soldiers desecrate their army and it's OK because... they're soldiers? What kind of reasoning is this? Go back to China if you like this kind of thikning so much. There's no generalization there. Except the one the whole goddamn world will make, and they won't check with their local Fascist apologists first. The next video should be of these guys getting DD'ed.

And hell, even if it were a couple soldiers doing that, then maybe there was a reason for it beyond our scope. Go to Iraq and pass out some water for the kids if you feel so passionate about it. If you can't do that then shut your mouth. These soldiers watch their friends get blown up and the Iraqi police officers they train get slaughtered. Let the kids run.

Once again im not justifing what they did in anyway but to say that all americans and and U.S. soldiers are asshole is ridiculus. we give more aid than any other country in the world, why dont you europians get off your self righteous asses. and for some to say katrina was much better is by far the dumbest thing i have heard, members of the guard weeks and months away from there family to help out so grow up and stop listing to everything you hear from kanya west, it wasnt any U.S. fault that the new orleans mayor and luisianna govenor didnt do there job.

to the people who this this is a video of cruelty, do i think what they are doing is right, of course not. but let me ask my good friend ryan what he thinks of this video. oh wait i can't he's dead. shot in the face by a kid in iraq asking for water. but before you judge an entire nation and it's people on the actions of a few, just remember that you are not as open minded as you like to claim to be. yes they were teasing them with water, but to read some of the comments like i wouldnt' mind seeing these guys executed, to those people i just want to let you know the nazi movement ended along time ago. and recently saddam's has recently, you remember the guy that was found guilty of genocide that was sentenced to death by hanging acording to some of you it sounds as if we should string these guys up right there beside him because what they are doing ranks right up there with mass murder. look at it this way they weren't teasing them with bullets. i guess to end this quick and and say what i need to, until you have been in a war situation do me a favor take your bleeding heart bull shit and stick it right up your backside.

and i guess alot of you forget about on of the big contributing factors of the united states involvement in this war. on the date of september 11th two planes were flown into new yorks trade towers, and one was flown into the pentagon in washington dc. and don't forget the one that crash landed in a fiels in pennsylvania, due to the fact that the passenger fought back, otherwise it would have hit it's intended target. so before you judge me because of the country i live in, remember my countrymen and women died in those attacks. it is a war, there is a reason it's called war and not happy fuzzy sunshine time. war in itself is cruelty not matter how you look at it. but i dobt that and one who died in the attacks on 9/11 did anthing personal to the people that flew the planes into those buildings, on that day most of them simply went to work in the morning to earn money to hopefully go home and see thier wives, daughters, sons, husbands, maybe even just to pet thier dog or cat. but thier lives were stolen from them in an act of terror, so were the lives of thier families now that a family member was killed. like i said before at least they weren't shooting at these kids, but i bet if the al quida faction was on our land here in the united states they'd do more then tease our children with water. so if your not from this country and want to judge us feel free but what you have to say in this matter really isn't important to me. and if your from this country and want to complain about it, do me a favor and choke on the freedom you don't deserve

Tainted777. Your take on the clip is tainted with idiocy. Didn't you get the memo? Iraq had no more of a connection to 9/11 than the Philippines, Indonesia, Iran, Syria, Palistine, or Lebanon (to name a few). And you still think we're there to fight "terrists"? What a sad joke you've fallen for. As for your comment about dissenting Americans choking on freedom they don't deserve: we're losing our freedom thanks to dullard patriots like yourself supporting Orwellian campaigns like "the patriot act".

witty is your comment about tainted with idiocy, i applaud you for that. but when it comes to the funding of a terrorist organization i guess you likr your candy coated cnn version of the war reports you like to get. saddam was a backer of al quida. down to funds and equiptment. i never once said nor will i ever say i agree with "the patriot act". i will say that i love this country and the freedoms we used to have until they were taken from us by the vote of others that i had no say in due to the actions of others. and i regards to a great american i will agree with, ben franklin said, "to give up and ounce of freedom for a bit of security, you truely don't deserve either." end quote. so to you zakarious with your wit and obvious knowledge of how i feel and think, my question to you would be. have you ever served in the military? have you ever looked down the barrel of and enemies gun? or better yet have you moved out of your parents basement yet? or are you still in the college they are paying for? have you been personally affected by the events that took place on 9/11, aside from the absurd institution of the patriot act. i did not say 9/11 is why we are at war in iraq, if you wanna quote me atleast have the decency to quote me properly when you are trying to insult me i said "and i guess alot of you forget about on of the big contributing factors of the united states involvement in this war. on the date of september 11th two planes were flown into new yorks trade towers, and one was flown into the pentagon in washington dc. and don't forget the one that crash landed in a fiels in pennsylvania, due to the fact that the passenger fought back, otherwise it would have hit it's intended target." end quote if you want me to i can underline the words "one of thecontributing factors", as in a factor of but not the only as in there are more then one factor. so when you right the word idiocy do me a favor and don't show yours by just quoting the few words that will

BUT! Tainted777, What the hell are you talking about? Read my post (sloooowly). I didn't quote you. Not once. Really. "Terrists" was GW and "the patriot act" was quoted because it doesn't deserve to stand alone using the term "patriot". I addressed your post in context. That's how this whole thing works. Since nobody gets to write a book, we write short, hopefully poignant posts in an effort to get our point across. I'll leave that where it sits. Just take your time.... AS for your other inquiries: no I've never served in the military. I moved out of my parents house when I was 17 (now 33, self employed, and living comfortably). Yes, I've looked down the barrel of an enemy's gun (grew up in Milwaukee if that helps). I've been shot at more than once and am lucky to be alive (several of my childhood friends aren't so fortunate). It seems you've made some baseless assumptions. I digress. At least we can agree on The Patriot Act (okay, my most heartfelt apologies on that 1) and Ben Franklin. As for the rest, you're lost. And CNN? CNN is a joke just like FOX, CNBC, MSN, The Washington Post, The Times, and The Onion. I try to take it all in just so I can strain out an once of truth. Try the BBC or NPR. There's a lot less straining to do.

The responses to this little bit of teasing is a complete joke. These soldiers are just kidding around with the kids and kids being kids they are playing also in their pursuit of whatever the soldiers would have thrown out of the truck. It's nothing. But to see the whining, over the top, wanting the terrorists to win comments here, show how many fools we have in the west. Those soldiers do more to give these kids a chance in life in one day, do more by risking their lives to stand for something than all you little whiny posters.

"6. aJagoff â 11/22/06 08:07 AM Flag as inappropriate All U.S. people are like that. Why would the soldiers be any better?" -And the world thinks all american citizens are ignorant. Iorny? See, the problem here is that the world points all these fingers at the USA, saying we are so censored towards the media and then witness all the bad incidences that happen. Well, ever think for once the rest of the world never sees the good things that happen over here? Such as the soup kitchens, food drives, Countless charities. We arn't all that bad, but we get stereotyped by minor incidences such as these. (points to video). And if you all think we (the USA) are the only ones guilty of corruption in the armed forces, then I spit in your general direction. I could easily pull up worse videos from nearly any country. I can think namely of one feed I saw a couple months ago of british soldiers malliciously pulling iraqi civilians behind a gated wall and beating them unconcious. it was very unconfortable to watch, yet this one was mildly amusing.

... Am I the only one here missing the biggest point? Those kids weren't chasing a toy, or a bag of candy. They were chasing a bottle of WATER. How hard does their life have to be before they go to such lengths to get a small bottle of water? It's so hot there, and many areas there don't have clean water. Sad, very sad. And those soldiers must have thought it was really funny, funny enough to share it with everyone else. Did they quit being human beings at some point over there, or were they that way to begin with?

In the scope of the war this behaviour says little about American troops or Americans but it says a great deal about the conflict. All of those involved in the war are victims, it is only the degree of suffering that varies. In order to be an effective killer (i.e. Soldier) you must be dehumanised to the point that the moral conflict surrounding the taking of a life is deliberately diminished. Why therefore should we be shocked or suprised when we see such behaviour which, in relative terms, does not appear as brutal. The video will shame and anger some, make others more despairing of the conflict. Whatever! I would not criticise or take to task anyone commenting on this video save to say this; If you have a deeply held view that's fine but don't presume to speak on behalf of freedom or liberty unless you have spilled your own blood for it. Don't blindly raise your hands and applaud a missile strike or an artillery shell hitting it's target whilst sat on your fat arse eating your fries and big mac. Better people than you are killed every day on both sides of this conflict. It aint no video game, it's fucked up in a serious way and you armchair generals don't know shit about it.
