    The description of this video is a lie, and a longer version showing what led up to this incident is on YouTube. The woman was resisting arrest for quite a while before she was tasered. She wasn't "forced to the ground" as the video description says, she struggled her way to the ground to fight off police trying to arrest her. I personally don't think she should have been tasered, but lying about it to make the cops look worse ruins your case when the truth comes out!

    There's a reason police officers are called pigs. This video is a perfect example of how the name has been earned.

    We need better cops. Cops in this society are completely out of control and dangerous to the citizens of our country. Not all cops are out of control but cops like the idiot in this video who tasers the lady who was already done gives all good, decent police officers a bad name. The scum in the force should be thrown out and replaced with people who care about the citizens of our country.

    lol good for those cops? and do whut they say? wow glad im not a cop in the states with that mentality. she was on the ground and restrained. i dunno about the states but here in canada we are taught how to ROLL the individual over and cuff them WITHOUT using excessive force like a taser while they are on the ground and not a threat!

    I hate it when people post video, leaving out important seconds of footage that give context to what we are watching. She wasn't cuffed yet so, realistically, she was still a threat if she had not been searched for concealed weapon, and was not complying with the officer's orders.



    Of course we are missing the footage that show whether or not the protest was becoming a threat of violence. I have also found that I can never trust what is written on the caption that accompanies any of these videos if the person who posted it was not being objective, or had an agenda.

    OK. Seriously? Maybe some cops do get out of hand, but there's a thing called adrenalin. PLUS, cops never know what to expect from people (especially if you've seen those videos, where it's a routine traffic stop for running a stop sign, and someone blasts the cop right between the eyes. I'd be on edge too. PEOPLE ARE STUPID!!! Plain and simple. America is going down the shitter, not because of the government or the police, but because of us. Americans are fat, ignorant, selfish, self-righteous, chaotic, slow, simple, followers.

    I think someone mentioned it before. They didn't just go, "Hey lady! ZAP!" out of nowhere. They don't just tazer random people. They tazer people who give them trouble. You know how you don't get tazered? You do what they tell you.

    I know, some of you are like, "But what if I didn't do anything wrong! That shit ain't right!" Well, get the #$%&* over it. It's a new world out there and with terrorism striking fear into the hearts and souls of every American, people are a lot more on edge and it's a lot easier just to get along with the government instead of trying to run it over by yourself. GROW UP PEOPLE!

    the reason for the cop doing this is to stop her resistance, whoever posed this needs another 2 seconds at the front to see what is going on, my best bet is tha she was resisting, and the cop wanted to get her under controll, see what happend after the shock? she shut right up and did what she was told. a good zap will not kill you unless it is across the chest, in whice case, it is bein misused. it is when someone who has started to coroperat and getrs zapped again is when it is abuse. all this was was a a cop trying to resolv it and move one, they want to break it up, take the instigators, and get out, leave a mob too long, it gets out of hand, get them out of the picture, if noone steps up, it will not escalate farurther. idealy...

    If you become a cop, you're held to a higher standard and should be even more aware of your actions. Going on just whats here, I would think "to much testosterone". But that's thinking unilaterally.

    What a crock, IowaTrooper. This was an anti-war rally - they tazed a couple of people and broke a young man's arm by handling him roughly when they had him cuffed behind his back. There was lots of film of these cops acting out, and the city will be paying out millions. This is what the force gets for hiring men with "problems".

    y is it we always see this part and not anything leading up to the event. who knows what she was doing to get that treatment? if she was so innocent then why weren't any of those little bitches protesting jumpin' in? LOL I definitely would have jumped in if I thought it was wrong. Must have not been so wrong.



    It must be easier to scream and protest from the sidelines rather than do something I suppose :-)

    and to think people were raising hell about the clip of the bull geting tazed for 5 seconds. shes being tazed for over 15 seconds. she was flopping around defenceless the whole time.

    i agree, the start of this clip was not revealed, she would not be part of a riot if she was all angelic, she could have had a weapon and they did not want to risk it. this clip has obviously been cleverly cut short to make the cops look bad...either that or they where just arse holes

    Before you guys get riled up, think. At the begining of the video she was laying down on her back. Then she is tazed and told to lie on her *FRONT*. There is no part of the clip showing where she was resisting arrest, and would not respond to any other punishment.

    While I do not condone many actions by different police departments, I can understand how they can get to be the A-Holes they are, it would be very frustrating to be a cop nowadays. however that is no excuse to take their frustrations out on people who do not deserve it. If the cops cannot take the heat or the frustrations, quit.

    I don't trust the local cops where I live any father than I could through an m1 abrams main battle tank. 3 times my property has been stolen , and they didn't do squat. as well, my life got threatened, and they ignored it... As I had advised them after that, if I ever come across a downed cop, I will look at them, laugh and walk away.

    I never pull over for cops! I don't trust them as far as I can throw them! They always have to follow me either to my home or a place with a lot of lights and witnesses and I always call about 5 people to let them know what is going on! I know some cops and I have heard some first hand stories of what some of them think that uniform gives them the right to do!!!

    not always - some cops just like the ability to abuse people and use the "justice system" to get away with it. How do I know? Both of my parents are cops, and they know MANY cops like that which they are constantly writing up and firing. Sad, but true.
