Description: The Colour of Hope is a British Charity, aiming to reduce poverty, advance education and promote employment amongst disadvantaged people in Peru. We provide aid to young adults leaving care homes in Lima. Most of these young adults have previously lived on the streets and still bear the marks of drug addiction, extreme poverty and abuse. Once they grow-up, they must leave their homes, find work and begin supporting themselves, but the difficulties theyve suffered and lack of money and family support make this almost impossible. Many end up back on the streets. We help these marginalized and disadvantaged young adults to integrate into their community and find dignified work; we give them a chance for change. Please contact us for more information or if you're interested in sponsoring a young person, running a fundraiser, donating or volunteering. Please help us create a chance - a chance for change. info@thecolourofhope.org http://thecolourofhope.blogspot.com/ (less)
