Description: This is a story about judgment. A man is sitting at a bus stop enjoying his morning paper and is annoyed and disturbed by the arrival of a lout who sticks his used bubble gum to the back of the stop. Frustration builds for the newspaper reader, as the gum chewer's behavior becomes a daily ritual. Looks are thrown; words are exchanged, but all to no effect. The gum-chewer maintains his daily routine.

The men are in their thirties and there is an inherent threat of testosterone driven violence in their relationship as the newspaper reader experiences greater and greater feelings of frustration, impotence and anger.

Just as the newspaper reader decides to teach the gum-chewer a lesson by setting a sticky trap the gum-chewer unexpectedly reveals a more human side to his nature leaving the newspaper reader with a sticky dilemma.
