That's obviously not a rattlesnake. It's a boa constrictor (not venomous, but has teeth and can give a nasty bite). You can see it's coiled around the handler at the end.

If you notice, the sound is not matched with the film because they slowed it wayyyyyy down to show the snake biting in slow motion. So the cameraman nor handler could fix that if they wanted. Snake was faster.
