that was fucking awesome. do you keep up with the comics? annihilation? planet hulk? the movie 'fantastic four 2:rise of the silver surfer'? basically, if you made a short 5-10 minute animation of surfer fighting his enemies and a decent story, i bet you could sell it to marvel for a quick buck, maybe even get hired to make a series. do you have a myspace? my site is myspace.com/andyp6 or myspace.com/snunchykins keep up the good work, peace

The Surfer has always been Stan Lee's personal fave. He's had a movie in the works for... oh, thirty-some-odd years...nothing was ever good enough. But now we have computer animation like this! I look forward to seeing The Surfer in his own feature-length movie. Hell, maybe even a franchise.

fragments here with the character stiff as a board nyuk nyuk...the surfer is most tragic and philosophical...
you have the figure and texture over the typical cosmik debris backgrounds & those are the basic elements..study some kirby cosmos graphics and you will get the magnetics of the flow that drove this alien and his pathos...let the figure have weight as well as form so that the motion is not just a cardboard cutout style 3d..but then again kirby's earliest animation with marvel was quite similar to this with a sort of panel to panel action.
Great bursts of power in this that do blow the embers...keep on the wave..thanks for posting
