Its amazing finally having rugby on a tv channel that anyone can watch in North America! Its definitely a sport that North Americans are missing out on with lots of hard hitting, fast action! I've got one problem though. Union definitely is the more popular version of rugby in Canada and the US. What are the chances of playing some union matches? Thanks Spike!

Oh yes!!!. I was crushed when Setanta lost the rights and have been streaming over Aussie TV, which is crap. I got to watch my Storm roll over Manly tonight thought and I'm hoping I can watch them again, though Spike looks to be going light only showing one game a week. We need this sport to be promoted, especially with the US Rugby league starting up in 2010.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Not only did you give us Rugby, but you gave us the toughest, and most bad ass form of it " The NRL " club series. For those of you who have only had the fortune to see International Rugby, you haven't seen shit until you have seen The NRL CLUBS beat the holly hell out of each other. Lets just say that unlike International Rugby, the ref seems more interested in watching the game than he does giving out penalties. " Let us not scrum, lets just run the fucking play mate! " You have done it once again SPIKE! You have indeed proven that you are the only network on tv with some balls! P.S. NFL.....what's that????

I'm an Aussie living in Sydney and i'm glad you guys finally get to see the greatest game of all. The NRL is the toughest and best competition in the world. Rugby Union is boring. Rugby League rules. The best 3 games of the playoffs so far have been the Dragons vs Eels, Titans vs Broncos and Broncos vs Dragons. Go the Bulldogs.

I'm pretty sure NRL will have a small but significant audience by mid-next season in USA on Spike - assuming you play most of the games. I think you've made the right choice with Rugby League as it's less complicated with more consistent action than Union and also more similar to the NFL. Hopefully you show the entire season in 2010, it really has it's ups and downs and with only one "conference" for the entire country is quite easy to follow even if you miss a few weeks. These ads don't do the game justice. It requires a lot of skill and strength (both mental and physical) to play this game and it's clear for all to see when watching - a lot of action and drama.
