    did she apologize?it didn't sound like one too me and yes being asian i was offended. Its like this i had a boss come by and say to fellow employeeslets go eat some chink food and didn't see me sitting there he acted like or hoped that i didn't hear him. he turned and left and two fellow workers(both African Americans) thought it was funny and kidded me a little. Until i turned and said you should hear what he says when you're not around they paused and thought jokes stopped there.Just because you are not offended others might.

    I am definitely a Rosie O’Donnell fan by any means but at least she had the guts and fortitude to apologize the right way. She said that if what she said offended anyone that she was sorry and didn’t mean it to hurt anyone’s feelings. That’s fine and that’s all that she needs to say. Unlike that bloated loser snob Sen. Kerry who bashes our boys and girls over in Iraq and then gives a weak B.S. apology to absolutely no one. Sen. Kerry and most of Washington could take a lesson for Rosie O’Donnell. And this is coming from someone who is again, not in any way shape or form, a Rosie O’Donnell fan.

    It seems as though Rosie is a little more defensive rather than apologetic. There is a bug difference between an accent and thoughtlessly mocking a foreign language. She seems to keep referring to it as an accent when she knows damn right she was in the wrong. She even says in the clip that she would probably do it again because "thats how her mind works". Rosie is SO QUICK to jump on someone for being anti-gay or homophobic and saying how outrageous that is, but maybe "thats how THEIR mind works". She is such a hypocritical person.

    Yeah i'm not buying that she didn't know Ching Cong was Offensive. But just say she is really didn't know that even though she damn well knows she did. OK. Fine Rosie you didn't know. Way To be in touch with the world.I can't not stand this woman. She seems to thinks she is the voice of the gay community now.Well she seems to be making them and americans in general look bad.She must be stoped at all cost. Take this Evil Rotting swine off of tv. Hey lets just get rid of the View.It's such a lame show.What do these ladies even know about being real women.     Worst apology ever. Who apoligizes by saying she will do it again in a week. Its as if she is sorry that people are too senitive. She is a big hypocrite and that's the issue here. Ching Chong is mildy funny in first grade but to not possibly know it could be insulting to Asians is unbelievable. The point is she just called someone homophobic then using that same standard Rosie is a racist then. She's a big fat hypocrite, end of story.

    Rosie only has sensitivity to fat, gay people and her apology towards Asians was not at all sincere but defensive. She's the same vulgar hypocrite that she always has been.     OK- get real people. this ching chong was not meant to be offensive or cruel- it was someone using these words to emphasize a point. since she doesn't speak chinese- it was used to make a joke about danny devito and his drunkeness was reported world wide. People need to lighten up. There is so much more in this world we need to worry about rather than crap like this. Rosie did not mean to be hurtful- why would she try that? she is a large lesbain woman trying to have a career in a world that hates lesbians and fat people. Come on- she KNOWS what it is like to be discriminated against- and would not do something to cause others pain. if she was chinese there would have been no 'freak out' about her use of those words. EVERYONE in this friggin world has used words and made jokes that might been seen as offensive.

    ANTHONYOGILVIE, you have got to be kidding. Rosie is a disgusting, rude, person who thinks she knows it all an is better than everyone else. I cannot understand why we keep her on the air by watching her. She blew a snot on the floor while on the air on The View, she has stated she only takes a bath every 2 to 3 days, look at her hair. I have been very ill for the past year so I have watched too much TV. I do love to hte her.
