    Rosie didn't say anything wrong or harsh; she just "called it" and told it like it is....Anna is/was truly troubled and it was VERY difficult to watch her at times.

    rosie is what she is. of course the timing of her comment is horrible but at least now she'll have days and days and days of anna nicole in the headlines. that will be enough punishment for her. everyone i'm sure that had seen anna nicole's interviews know that she was struggling. her slurred speech, her seemingly inability to focus. i say watch that creep stern. he may have had a hand in her death one way or another.

    I doubt Rosie would have said what she said had she known Anna would be dead in a few short hours. Personally I think she stuck her foot in her mouth and although I doubt it, it would be nice if she finally learned her lesson. Trashing another person to get attention is plain cheap.

    Rosie calls it how she sees it and I respect that. She doesnt pick on anyone that doesnt deserve it IMO. Bad timing - but impossible to pedict. Why do people hate her so much - because she doesnt conform? Because she isnt a lap dog to media expectations? That is exactly why I like her.

    Rosie was recently at a dedication ceremony for America's injured soldiers. Unfortunately she didn't take anything away from the experience. Those soldiers and the ones before them fought for her right to freedom of speech. It would be great if she would honor their sacrifices by using that right for something other than criticizing everyone and everything. Perhaps she has to belittle others to distract her from her own questionable baby buying lifestyle.

    Anybody ever hear of freedom of speech? Rosie can say what she wants and how she feels about things. That's why she was hired by Barbara Walters! I certainly respect her more than I ever did Anna Nicole. However it was a tragic life for her these last few years, but I think most of it was her own doing. That's how I feel about it! If you don't like what Rosie says, you can disagree, or agree to disagree, or turn off the TV or stop reading about her. Wishing her dead does no one any good! That's an immature comment to say the least! As for people's "feelings", well showbiz people know that they're under a microscope and will be scrutinized constantly, especially someone as flamboyant as Anna Nicole was. She craved the publicity for the most part.

    To EVERYONE defending Rosie saying how could she know, she's so outspoken, she doesn't conform, freedom of speech, blah blah blah....first of all she couldn't have known, BUT, for someone who is bashing 24/7 it was bound to happen sooner than later. Anna Nicole has already been outted by the tabloids, why does someone who's been in the tabloids themselves who should be sympathetic need to add to it? As far as being outspoken and not conforming, those are good qualities that do NOT apply to this situation. Anyone can bash others all day at their lowest points but it takes someone with more depth to their personality to talk about real issues. As for freedom of speech no one is saying she doesn't have the right but she also has the right to eat her own vomit, that doesn't make it respectable. Since Rosie's bashing has become so frequent in the last few weeks The View should just make it a regular segment so we know when to switch the channel. Instead of talkinng about people Rosie should have just prayed for Anna nicole, and Donald Trump, and Oprah, and Kelly Rippa.......

    Actually, what's really disturbing to me and disrespectful is the fact iFilm chose this particular clip as its Film Clip of the Day. Obviously Rosie O'Donnell could not possibly have had any idea the events that would follow after her comment. If the tragedy hadn't happened, no one would be making a big deal about what she said.

    Everything Rosie says here is true. Anna Nicole was obviously on multiple substances long before and also after the death of her son. The only people I ever felt bad for in that situation was her son (RIP) and that poor little girl who has to grow up with this legacy.
