Description: Lena Fischer (Katja Reimann) goes to the Jewish prison in Berlin trying to find her Jewish husband. In an attempt to find out if her husband really is in the prison, she lies to a guard, telling him that her husband has their ration book.

In 1943, Jewish husbands of Aryan wives in Berlin were finally rounded up by the Nazis who intended for them to suffer the same fate as other Jews. The men were gathered at a detention center on Rosenstrasse to await their fate. The women gathered day after day, demanding that their husbands be set free. A dramatic and tense situation told in reflection. (less)
