Bullitt was the shit back in the day, and still is, but things get better, dude.
Things like camera grip equipment, cars, stunt drivers. In the least it's shot better.
"Blow the fucking doors of"?
There are no brake lights in the scene!

Best chase? - yes. I bought this DVD just for this scene. The chase scene in Borne Supremecy was similar, tunnel and all, but one couldn't see what the hell was going on due to the damn shakey camera.

No way Jose. The chase scene from Bourne Supremacy was the best chase scene ever. Never was cinematagraphy and editing used so masterfully to build the chase to a such a high crescendo.

Description: This is the BMW 5 Series and Peugeot 306 chase, the last one of the film. It includes the awesome tunnel sequence where they are going against traffic. John Frankenheimer owns the genre. This is by far one of the greatest action/espionage films and in my opinion, the greatest car chase sequences ever. Bullit is great, but for its time.
The energy, acuuracy and authenticity if how this action was captured is unmatched to date. Hollywood take notice. (less)
