A cross between a ski slalom, the fastest motor sport in the world, and plane aerobatics, the Red Bull Air Race was conceived in 2001 by the Red Bull think-tank and two-times World Aerobatics Champion Peter Besenyei of Hungary. The race debuted in 2003 at AirPower in Zeltweg, Austria. Peter is seen winning the race in Ireland in 2004 in the above clip.
