But is reality tv ever that real, or worse will it become that real.

It's meant to be a sarcastic look at how "real" reality TV could become with the proper demented minds working on it, ha, ha.

Should Gapoz Films not be mentioned on the credits? After all this has more than just a slight reference to the short film they made, Maximum Reality. In fact its very much like that film! One could argue almost identical!!!

Just to clarify something here in case there is confusion. I (Megan Myers) wrote the original script for this story which was modified slightly, storywise, and originally filmed by Gapoz Films a couple of years ago. It was titled Maximum Reality. This version, (i.e. REALITY TO THE MAX), is my original script version and was filmed by lookingupfilms, directed by Chris Fata in November. I wrote it--but two different versions exist.

This is quite the clever little piece of work. I would love to know more about Derk and Trina. It is so devilishly evil how they mix and blend murder and mayhem so easily into the rest of their lifestyle. Bravo on this one.

I guess I should personally take that as a compliment. It's a matter of who is willing to forgo the process and hassle and responsibility of filming something. I've got far more scripts than there are people pounding on my door to produce them so, if you are one, or, you know of one (or two or three) feel free to send them my way. meganmyers2004@yahoo.co.uk .

Both Chris and Gapoz did what they said they would do and I have no problems with either one, no the actresses who went more than the extra mile to make these things work..

Did you have to pay any of these people to do the videos? If not that would explain it.

But there are companies out there who can do all sorts of things at a reasonable price and are not restricted by no nudity policies, and they have some really gorgeous actresses who are willing to do all sorts of things.

Have you checked out WAVE movies? They have some of the best bondage and force fetish to the very best type of fantasy grade A snuff horror videos on the net. And a lot of them are pretty damn well acted too.

No boring censorship issues that totally ruin evertthing. I'm definatly going to be using one of those places in the future for my projects.

I'm very familiar with WAVE productions. If you're talking about paying somebody like them to film a movie script for you, I guess that's one thing. If you are talking about sending them a script on the pretense of "Would you be interested in filming this really great story that is similar to what you're doing?" they'd most likely say something along the lines of, "Sorry, we work off our own matrial." -- and that's if (and let me make that a very big IF) they would even respond back at all. Getting a response back is rare in itself.

Getting anyone to even read a script is an accomplishment,--getting them to comment back is harder yet (even if it's just a rejection) and getting someone to film it, is in a league all by itself. And these are just simple, easy to do shorts. You may have contacts or some source you know of for sure that I don't. If so, I envy you. If you have had different experiences, I would be interested to hear them. I've contacted a couple of hundred producers at all levels over the last 3 years and have had 8 projects done. Even one of those has been filmed but is still be edited. Anyway, always good to hear from you Ricardo.

Just thought I would share with the world an email I received from Morbid Films...

    Hey Jason

Sorry it took me so damn long, but I just watched Reality to the Max. I have to say I was really impressed! That was a very well made movie. Once the beginning credits were rolling I was like, shit, what the hell did they shoot this on?

The movie looked great. The story had a good pace and the acting was really good. Your acting in the mini van was very good. The goth looking girl was very good too. The Bone Sickness reference cracked me up. It was weird to hear someone mention it in another movie.

You guys did a great job. The technical, visual side was very impressive. Damn, I wish Fetus looked as good as this does.

Allot of indie stuff I have seen is complete crap, but you guys have a real talent for making movies. Best of luck with what ever your working on now, or next.

As far as returning the favor, I could work in having the dvd case sitting with some tapes and cds in my next movie I'm starting the end of July.

    Talk to you later

    Brian

Description: A darkly-humored horror short about a deviant, sociopathic couple who decide to exploit their talents and branch into capitalizing on the reality TV show craze. They decide to film an 'educational/informational' pilot to pitch to network execs about different ways that innocent, unsuspecting women are lured into traps. The production does not go well, especially for their unwillingly cast first victim Directed by Christopher Fata, Written by Megan Myers, Starring Jason Wilder Evans, Caitlin Robert and Melissa Stanziale.
