for babegil and Weslee I have to disagree on your comments about the video, because this video serves as a wake up call to black society. Since some of black society feeds into the the negativity of rap music today. This video is saying hey since you all love rap music and learn from what the next new rapper is telling you then why not I put a postive message into rap music by showing you the right way to live and mimic your way of living so you can realize how us black as a whole are being protrade in society and hopefully by watching this video you will the right way to betta your self are you will end up like Mrlevon by asking Whatssa book. Remember the saying that white people have stated in order to hide something from a nigger you put in a book. So advise for black people to WAKE UP!!!!!!

Ok, i agree the words he used was not too nice, but he was telling the truth. Some people need to read a book and get some type of knowledge. You have some men out here making thousands of babies and not taking care of them (same thing for women), Instead of buying LAND and trying to BETTER THEMSELVES AND FUTURE, some people rather go hustle, drink and smoke all day. Not even thinking about making a honest living. The video is funny in a way. He has a message in this song, but saying it in a different way (most people disagree, but who cares!! People complain about their children listening to gangsta rap and the sex in the media....most of it comes from the streets...THEN you got some idiot trying to sue the man because its degrading to BLACK men....Half of the BLACK men degrade themselves by the DUMB shit that they do. SO GET OVER IT. SAD BUT TRUE!!!!

Yes, everything is a bit sarcastic to watch as adults, but who do you think the main audience this video is aiming? Adults? I don't think so. The majority of the kids watching this will probably make fun of it and move on, but at least they've seen it. Once you have something inside your mind, there is a moment that it might come up in the future. I think that's what the maker of this video is aiming for. To plant the message inside their mind for them to recall for it later.

I think this song made a mockery of rap as a medium of communication. Even though the message had good intentions, it did not need to be stated in such explicit terms. The target audience for this song are young people in their teen and college years. This song appears to this audience as a comedy, instead of a serious message. Let's face it, if you tell a teen to buy some land and fuck spinning rims, he or she is just going to laugh at you. The song is a wake up call and a call for change, but it does not effectively communicate this message.

a funny paradox when it comes to rap.....like having a flamboyantly gay rapper or something like that.....what happened to intelligent hip-hop?
At least this song makes an effort in a comical way to show young-ens that it aint all about bitches, bling, and 40 oz.....if you think about it from a social or psychological standpoint, its very interesting...

Most of these rappers and or artist grew up poor or in slums.....So what happens when all of a sudden they make all this $$ ? They don't know how to invest their money, because no one showed them, and they never had this kind of wealth before.....Method Man, and Chuck D have talked about this....Its called "niggafication", they get caught up in appearance and and blow all their money on cars, and partying.....fuck! look at Mike Tyson.

This song is a slap in the face to gangsta rap, and too some extent dirty south music.....Listen to some music that has real and meaning full lyrics. like mos def, common, talib kweli, the roots....its out there, but just not as marketable as the shitty music they play on most radio stations...including B96 in MPLS.....and yes take care of your children people.
    Peace I'm out
