You retard... the sharp whistling noise coming out of your mouth actually was hurting your puppies ears.... He was not whistling to copy you... he was crying because you were making his ears hurt! Please stop doing that to him no matter how cute you think it is... because its not when you really think about it. And if you do the same with your cell phone... thats just as bad... it hurts their ears more... so again.. please make you puppy love you more and stop hurting him/her..... *sigh*... use common sense to see what howling or an animal crying may mean....

    according to pets.ca:

"Tip - 36 - Howling dogs - why dogs howl

Howling is a form of communication in dogs. It is a way for dogs to signal their presence to other dogs that are often located far away. It is common in wolves and coyotes, both relatives of today's domestic dog.

Domestic dogs that howl, especially those that howl excessively are usually doing this because they are bored and lonely. Getting extra toys, and giving your dog more attention and exercise will help to stimulate your dog and reduce excessive howling. If you make your dog sleep outside all night, it's no wonder the dog howls a lot. Bring the dog inside!

Sometimes dogs will howl when they hear sirens or other loud higher pitched sounds like clarinets and flutes. These sounds may even come from a television set. Dogs do this as an instinctive response to hearing what they interpret to be another howl (dog in the distance). They are not doing this because it hurts their ears."

Well Zerya obviously knows nothing about dogs nor has ever owned one. The whistling is not hurting the dog's ears at all, he is copying the whistling noise. Dogs howl for many reasons, not only because of pain. They CAN and DO howl to communicate. I have owned many dogs and they have often immitated me when I would howl. They would "Sing" for me. If I howled at a low pitch, they would howl low to match. When I howled at a higher pitch they would copy me. They were NEVER in pain when I did this, they enjoyed it quite a lot. They would often start to howl on their own when I was around to try and get me to copy them. The puppy in this video is NOT in any pain whatsoever. The pitch of the man's whistling is far too low to cause any pain to a dog's ears. In fact if a dog were hearing a high pitched noise that hurt it's ears we humans would have no way to know because we would be unable to hear it. Kickasscanadian has it right. So, who's the retard? Certainly not us canadians, right Kickass? :-)

That pup is just too precious, he loves talking to his dad.
