I'm actually friends with the guy who fought Kurt Angle in this coming season¿s episode. His name is Dallas. He's a great fighter and a heck of an athlete.

yall should have swimmers they are very athletic and stong like you could have micheal phillps
it is actually really hard to swim 300 yards 300 meters which is 12 laps and if you guys really wanted to push the joes you could have a 50 meter yard pool also you could make them swim butterfly the hardest stroke

you will never see real competition for the "pros" on this show, ie:Division 1, etc. Only out of shape guys.

Stevef209,
I am on the show this year and I have to point out alot of the things you say in your blog are completely untrue.
First of all, you say no Joe is in shape and ready to compete?!?!? Watch the my episode with Dallas, Steve, Jason, Eddie, Brent, and myself. Brent competes in the Ironman. Dallas is a olympic runner (watch for him this year) Steve looks like a Calvin Klein model, Eddie and Jason are still on their games. And for myself, I am ready to play on any MLB or NFL squad out there!
Also, this year the Joe's do get to pick which Pro we go against. As for washed up pro's....Jimmy Smith and Ricky Williams, one just got out and one just went back in the NFL. Kendall Gill has been boxing and is about to rejoin the NBA. Kurt Angle is the biggest name in TNA.
I'll agree with you to some point that a lot of the smack talking in the some of the Joe's videos are fake, but some aren't.
I'll tell you this too, when Kurt Angle hits you and his hands melt into your chest...that pain is REAL!
The show is what it is. I love the show and would do it again in a heartbeat. Watch this year, watch just my episode, then tell me what you think about what you wrote in your blog.

Returnoftheperm;
No offence at all to you. I am actually on the side of the Joes. My comment is to make it fair for the Joes. After last year..those were my thoughts/predictions for this year.
Last season, there seemed to be many Joes that should not have been there and had NO skill in any way. It was sad. Tell me that there weren't thousands of really skilled challenging people who didn't apply? Perhaps this year will be different.
When I say has-beens it is mainly in their attitudes. What happened to sportsmanship? This is something I wouldn't want my kids to learn from.
I know it is what it is. I just don't understand why it can't be a sportmanlike, fair, and nice competition. Did I say fair? LOL.
Matt, I will watch your episode for sure and be cheering for you!!! Thanks for your response. :)
