This episode, "Murder at the Inn", bothered me. There was a second death here that seemed to go completely unaddressed. The bad guy's mistress was reported dead from what seemed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. I don't believe that's very statistically common for women. They tend toward more peaceful means of suicide (pills, cut wrists...). Without a murder weapon being produced for the chef's murder, can we be sure she wasn't killed by the same gun and perhaps by the same man? No one seemed interested in following up on her death at all. With the possibility that her "boyfriend" might have been responsible, I trust that somebody looked into it. I wish there was a way for me to find out. This guy may be sitting in jail having gotten away with a murder after all.
