I'm really not into the whole "Take away their powers" thing.
To have powers is to be unique and to be unique is a gift from god.
Why would you want to make the characters 100% normal?
Isn't the whole point of comics to celebrate being differant and to be proud of it?
That's just my view.
If I was doing a story, (And God willing, someday I will.) I would never want to strip the main characters of their powers.
I would sooner kill them then make them "Normal."
That's just my veiw though.
