As a husker fan and proud supporter of sportsmanship I can say that may be the most disgusting thing i have ever seen on a football field. The University of Nebraska prides itself on sportsmanship and is recognized as one of the best stadiums for visiting fans and teams. I also believe that attitude travels with the team and staff on the road. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I would not have belived it. GO BIG RED

Description: Missouri beat Nebraska 41-24 on October 11, 2003. Five minutes later, Nebraska cornerback Kellen Huston clocked a Missouri fan 1-0.

That was Sunday. Tuesday Huston apologized and was suspended for that week's game against Texas A&M. The fan has now filed a police report on the incident. In an interesting twist, he may face trespassing charges if he presses assault charges against Huston. Huston's apologists insist that fans were urged over loudspeakers not to walk onto the field after the game. (less)
