Description: Ian Miller (John Corbett) is baptized into the Greek Orthodox Church in order for him to marry Toula (Nia Vardalos.)

Toula's family thinks it's terrible that she's 30 years old and--gasp!--unmarried. She decides the only way to calm them down is to give in. She makes over her looks, her career, her whole lease on life and--presto chango!--she falls in love with a non-Greek vegetarian who's magically not put off by her decidedly opinionated family. Will their love survive the rigorous social wringer it's about to be put through?
