    animals of AFRICA? who are the ones creating demand for such things? do you think that africans pay "close to 1500 dollars" for a pelt? what about fur farmers all over the globe? meat farmers? are we just inclined to put the blame on other people, or disregard less iconic animals such as cows, goats, bunnies and minks... btw, i am not african, but i'm speaking on behalf... look in your own households for barbaric cruelty and dangerous greed before you go pointing fingers.
