Not really an ideal method to show with instructions on a site like this. I wonder how many idiots will actually try this out now on either volunteers or non volunteers. I reckon this is very irrisponsible of both the site and the coach Marc Laimon and the MMA girls.

Wow, this is really stupid. Looks like something that should be on a site for people who have fetishes or something...

Don't worry guys. If you ever go to a grappling tournament this is a regular occurrence. You are correct that people should not try this, but people get choked out all the time in competition and well qualified guys like Marc are there to make sure the choke doesn't go too long.

Anyone who tries this on their own deserves any bad things that happen to them. Obviously she's involved with a professional for this video. It's just like Jackass, they aren't responsible for people mimicking them with their dumbass friends. It's called personal responsibility.

I've been choked unconscious before in competition. Its no big deal. Marc is a professional, so he is the appropriate person to show this move. Just don't do it at home. Like Dcrean-ifilm said "they aren't responsible for people mimicking them with their dumbass friends. It's called personal responsibility."

This is wrong. A couple of seconds too long could mean a brain damage or something like that.
Doesn't matter if the guy knows what he doing or not.
Also, they have a cobra as a logo. I've saw karate kid, sir... you cant fool me! Ha!

It's a sleeper not an RNC.

As Marc said, he didn't want to crush her throat, so didn't apply the RNC, even 'tho he was set up for the slice.

Fair play to Joanne from MMAgirls for toughing out to the KO 'tho. You got game :)

being a practitoner of Brazilian Jiu jitsu I found this video to be extremely unprofessional. I can't believe that instructors would even allow her to be choked unconscious. That wasn't a competition. Why not due an armbar till her elbow pops. That happens in competition.

no biggie, my friends and I used to do this all the time just for fun. Not the smartest thing to do, especially people that don't know what they're doing that hold on too long or try it standing up and just let the person fall straight down. :) It's pretty creepy when you wake up and feel like you were somewhere else, like she says, "in a dream." LoL
