    Wow--they will have to rebuild it much stronger !! It took a major earthquake to bring down only part of the Bay Bridge in 1989. Only one section broke and the rest withstood the shock.

    It's odd, that after viewing this tradgy, while driving II found myself subconiously being aware of my surrouinding and being cautious of bridges and while driving on regular roads! This really gets your attention.I pray for all of the people who lost loved ones. Cape

    This is a disgrace !!!!! With all the revenue brought in from the Lottery and the rise in oil prices(which we all know is a real scam to the American people ) something like this should NEVER happen! Get your priorities straight and clean up your act ! Get all "our" bridges repaired and or replace them with new bridges . I also hope that by showing this to the world , we're not jeopardizing our security !!!!!! If I'm found doing 80 miles in a 40 mile zone on a bridge ,...this is why ....I'm getting the hell off of our bridges ASAP , so ticket me ;)!

    Why would a bridge structurally built to situationally flex snap as if it were a ridgid construction? Flexable structures will normally distort gradually and noticably before collapse

    Know what's cool about this video? The fact that we don't know who posted this ("viralvideos" posted this). I do feel bad for all the victims of this event. JAKECAKES seems to know more that any of us when it comes to bridge structures and I'm more than willing to listen. It is a disgrace for any American to be affraid now to cross a bridge, BUT WHY? I know there's more to this and if "they" (media/government) keep it honest, we'll get to the bottom of this (no pun intended).
