Backward told film noir a. (We'll stop being clever now.) A man rouses from a blow to the head to discover he can't remember anything. The man finds this disturbing because (a) he can't remember anything; and, (b) he needs to figure out who murdered his wife. Like we said, the story unfolds in reverse order, so don't miss the beginning. (Or is that the end?)
