    No offense to you guys at all, Im glad you all made it out ok, but I agree this video doesn't do anything positive for us. In my opinion you don't represent the Marine Corps in a very strong courageous manner. And yeah I know something about the Marines I was with 1stBn 5thMAR WPNS Co. for 2 tours in Iraq.... Its what we all knew was possible when we signed up and to post a video like this only gives the enemy hope and peace of mind that they are effectively scaring the United States from completing our mission.....

    You guys all know so much about what Marines do? They probably were sent in to draw fire so they could target the mortars. I've never been in the military (Dad was 3rd Mar Div in Viet Nam 66-67) and they sent rifle teams out from firebases to do "listening posts" along the laotian border. (Ho Chi Minh trail) Then they'd call in arty from the firebase. He said it was neato what a 105 would do to an elephant. :-)



    Bottom line: you clowns that are dissing the, Marines in this video, who are you to judge? Go be real men and beat off to kiddie porn. I group you right with that crowd, it shouldn't be much of a stretch, and I hope you get caught. Your disrespect to those that pledged to protect you should be a crime. What's so pathetic is that your internet machismo only further displays your cowardice. When I see video like that, it makes me pray for their safety. What's wrong with you?

    Everyone reacts differently under these circumstances. Maybe it was there first attack. When this shit happens, the only people out running around are the people gettting a fix on them. I like how all the comments here are from personal exp of being under attack...fucking cowards

    god ain't going to help them its god and oil that is causing this. i just feel sorry for the lack of training and preparation. the British base in Basra gets on average 14 mortars a day. you cant win hearts and minds with troops as scared and fresh as these. no wonder there is so many accidental killings of civilians.
