The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings (Extended Cut) - Galadriel Gift-Giving Scene

Movies & TV - Galadriel bestows gifts upon the fellowship as they depart.

Not just the first of the Lord of the Rings trilogy on DVD! Discs one and two include extra footage of the film, plus audio commentaries by director Peter Jackson, screenwriters Fran Walsh and Phillipa Boyens, composer Howard Shore, DP Andrew Lesnie, and actors Ian McKellen and Elijah Wood. Disc three includes the featurette Designing and Building Middle Earth, a book adaptation, a creatures and miniatures workshop and additional footage (behind the scenes, early reels, moving storyboards and a tour of the ardrobe department. Also includes storyboards, an atlas of Middle Earth and an art gallery (with artist commentary). It's also got an interactive map of New Zealand, highlighting the location-scouting process. Disc four includes the featurettes Bringing Characters to Life, A Day in the Life of a Hobbit, Principal Photography, Scale: Creating the Illusion of Size and Sound Design Demonstration. Also includes information on visual effects, as well as text and photo galleries.
