Wes discusses his unusual approach to filmmaking and his consistency of actor choice.
Bill Murray plays the quirky, egomaniacal captain of a research vessel, a la Jacques Cousteau. He's lost his partner to a shark gone insane, a la Moby Dick. He will seek his revenge, a la Captain Ahab. When his long-lost son (Owen Wilson) finds him and agrees to don the red cap and Speedos to hunt the shark by his side, things are looking good. But life at sea, much like life anywhere, is rarely smooth sailing.
