June 06, 2001 - I became pretty obsessed with Iron Chef after seeing it for the first time years ago, and at 2:30 one morning it hit me just how I should spoof it.

I pulled music and other sound from Iron Chef, but also performed the voices of show regulars Dr. Hattori, Fukui, Ohta, Judge Kanoh, and Iron Chef Morimoto here and there throughout the movie. I also did Sean Connery's voice, because the concept of him on the panel was so bizarre, and the toy looked like him circa Red October.

As fans of Iron Chef<'i> know, the judging panel almost always has at least one ditzy Asian ingenue and a fortune teller or a food critic; a female friend of mine voiced them.
