    yeah, you act like he just came off the streets, he's been training for the last 2 years in mma and he has a winning record. and one of them was on the ground with a submission, his ground game is not great but he knows what to do

    I agree with killer.. Kimbo slice sucks.. elitexc had him fighting has beens and when he got in the cage with a young TUF reject he got ko'ed in 14 seconds.. so please .. know what YOU are talking about... bas rutten even had it with him not wanting to train and doing whatever he wants..

    I mean.. look at who his last opponent was supposed to be... Ken shamrock!!

    He's ready, I think Kimbo learned a lot from his first loss in MMA and will come back hungry and more determined because he knows nothing will be handed to him in the UFC. Can't wait for the season of TUF to begin.

    kimbo is going to be a great mma fighter and i believe he is going to make it far. He already is very skilled. He is an awsme striker , and with the little things he is learning here and there i think he is going to get really far.

    You can't compare Brock Lesner with Kimbo. Brock was a NCAA champion with a record of 106-5 (source: Wikipedia). Brock is the real deal and displayed his skills on Mir. On beating Mir, he went back to his wrestling roots and kicked his ass. Furthermore, Kimbo was not able to handle the pressure as demonstrated in his defeat from Seth Petruzelli. In fact, Kimdo went down from a jab. The next batch of TUF participants are jelous and will out for Kimbo. He is a marked man. This is Kimbo's last chance ...



    Just because Kimbo is big and black does not make him a bad ass! No TUF title for Kimbo.

    kimbo is a good fighter we all have seen his videos and i think that he is going to do quite well, he fucks shit up in the street he just going to bring that over into the cage. hes not going to dive right into the cage with his street smarts he is aso going to have things up his sleeve he not going to go up against the talented fighters and not have any training. kimbo is going to kick ass and im pretty sure kimbo and brock douche bag would be a fight a i would not miss. for all of you non belivers your dumb.

    Kimbo Slice is a true fighter because you see his heart wants to be in the UFC. I hope he can get a fresh start with this show and do very well. I think his internet fame was taken advantage of and he was put into a spot that was set up to fail him. Kimbo never gives up that passion is only feuled by his heart. A lion that's never been taught but founded his own way. He doing everything he can. He deserves this opportunity. Rampage I hope you won't fail him. Kimbo always had the heart he needs the tools. Kimbo eat from the table of knowledge and become the Kimbo you know you are.

    Its not like he knows NOTHING about the ground, I mean do you really think he came straight from the streets & onto the show? No. He trained for a year before he did the show.

    Kimbo has what it takes to make it here in the UFC. I've been waiting for this for a long time. He's got the drive from the street and he's soaking up the technics of the other fighters to better himself. He's got the heart and soul to make it. He's not stupid. He knows the areas he needs to work on to stay in the game and he's been working on it in his training.

    All you idiots telling kimbo he sucks, guess what thats probably a good thing cause even a lot of MMA fighters say he sucks but all thats doing is making kimbo work harder and become better and better. Eventually a lot the fighters that say he sucks might be beaten by him, if he keeps working hard enough like he has been.

    Kimbo obviously isn't going to just blow through everybody, but it did look like he was in some of the best shape of all the fighters there. He's not a wrestler, but he's learning how to defend against the take down. Chuck Liddel wasn't a wrestler and he was pretty damn good. Kimbo can almost certainly stand with any of the guys on the show, plus he appears to be Rampage's favorite. That means he'll be getting the most out of the training sessions.

    Plus, there's all that hype about him being on the show. I don't think he's gonna be knocked out anytime soon. They tape the promos before they air the season, so wouldn't it be a huge waste of money to have all those commercials if kimbo got knocked out in the first few fights? Or even the first round.

    First of all its the other way around. They tape the promos incase he does get his ass kicked before the show. Think about it his name alone brings ratings to the show so of course there gonna promote him before it airs until he loses on the show or wins. Second, Chuck Liddells Strengths are kickboxing and takedown defense but he WAS A WRESTLE in high school so he is a wrestler, just not his top strength.



    I like Kimbo im rooting for him cause hes got a lot of heart and looks crazy as hell, but I will say the odds are agaisnt him just being realistic. Thats the whole point of the show worth watching though to me is to see if he is badass enough to overcome and beat the others asses who are better in some if not most areas of mma than him. Like person above said earlier though Brock was given the same chances and hes the champion now, even though i will agree he had a better chanced imo than Kimbo does cause he was great colleigate wrestler and its known fact well rounded fighters with there best skill being wrestling do well in the UFC.

    I think Kimbo will at least win 1 fight and be in the semifinals or finals at the most. Hopefully he will win but his takedown defense will have to be great and somewhat mirror Chuck Liddels for him to win imo.

    Ignorance is a shameful thing. I'm sure sure how long you've been a fan of mma or the UFC, but even the greatest names in the sport have suffered devastating defeats (Hughes, Lidell, Couture, GSP, BJ Penn) how many names do you need. Did you not see the way Houston Alexander ko'd Jardine? And didn't Jardine's turn around tell you a little bit about the sport. If you want to argue fighting "has beens" then what the hell was Gracie doing in the octagon with Hughes? I'm not a Hughes fan but certain fights are crucial in order to finish a chapter and begin a new era. And you can't take away from Kimbo that he's giving it his all as you sit at home and criticize the old man.

    kimbo needs a few things. I'm a fan.

    1. close game, greco roman, olympic wrestling, NOT BJJ. He needs to be comfortable being close. face pressed to face.

    2. boxing is face forward. He needs to spin. 180 degrees, 360 degrees. like dancing. change places with your opponent. grab them, or they grab you, and spin them. disorient them.

    ex. when you throw punches, you spin your core, torquing it. You need to do it further until they are where you used to be, and you are where they were. exchange places. coz the shoot is straight forward, so you spin them, and they spin off of you. and next thing they know, you are behind them. bangin. kickin, torquin' with heavy hands.

    and throw elbows man. dirty boxing. it's allowed, takes little energy and does damage.

    Kimbo is Cool. I don't think he'll ever reach a level even close to Chuck Liddell, Rampage, Silva, Randy C. etc. but I think he'll do pretty good in the UFC.

    I use to think the Rampage was a good guy, however, his actions on this show have shown me he is nothing but an ignorant ghetto thug. What an embarrassment he is to the UFC. Mr. White, is this really the type of person you want representing your organization? I wouldn't piss on Rampage if he was on fire, what an unintelligent asshole!
