    I honestly think that Kelly is right....simply because it is rude for ANYONE to place their hands on someone else's face. Rosie is very very defensive and always looking for a reason to call out on homophobia in america. She needs to give it a rest!!!

    I completly agree with invademycloset, I would have said the same thing. Plus when your embarassed and disrespected like that by a guest host what are you supposed to say. That accusation was wrong and just because Rosie is openly gay that doesnt give her the right to accuse people of being homophobic for something like that.

    My god! My wife has chastised me for putting my hand over her mouth and we were in private (not in front of millions of people). To suggest that this was homophobic is just pure stupidity, and why was rosie so braisingly cutting kelly up if it is indeed "THE VIEW" does it suggest that Kelly should have no view. Rosie you slap of contradiction you suggest that your sexuallity is under attack yet I see nothing but embrace for you, how else could you have done a heterosexual sex scene on Nip/Tuck cause god knows it wasn't because you're the Belle of the prom.

    Rosie was way out of line. Once again trying to grab attention to her "I am a proud out gay woman" yet again. She sees gay oppression everywhere she looks or looks for. She is no different when some blacks see racisim every where they want, I did not get that job, its cause I am black/gay..I did not get that house...poor me I am black/gay...i did not get that date...oh whoa is me.     The thing is that Clay has not said he is Gay, and for Rosie to say it was all based on homophobia was wrong. It is like she was calling him out, and then saying kelly was wrong. The truth is, if it was Regis, she would have probly not have acted the way she did. It was like she saying this is my show Idol Boy, so don't put your hand on my mouth when I am speaking. Kelly obvously showed up back side on who she acted to it, and Rosie just put her two cents in for Publicity. Is it ok for a handto be on Kellys mouth when she was making alot of money on that crapy show Kelly and Faith? but not on Live? Yes she did have a hand put on her mouth alot. I am so sure she used a bleach to kill the germs after each take on that show..... All I say is Kelly make "MILLIONS" on this show alone. So for her to act this way is rediculase. Disrespectful? Give me abreak.

    So Rosie accuses Kelly of being homophobic. Kelly defends herself from the attack. Rosie responds that she never said "homophobic" when it is right there on the tape. And then Rosie thinks it is a difference of opinion? You can't attack somebody, refuse to accept a logical rebuttal, deny you ever attacked and then refuse to retract your attack because you're gay. No logic whatsoever.

    Move on,Rosie, everything does not have to do with you and your homosexuality. Congratulations, I am thrilled that you love so very much to talk about your sexuality. The rest of us however are past it and to be frank, never really cared in the first place. If any body put their nasty germ factory hands on my face I would not have been as nice as Mrs. Ripa. There are too many cases in the world in which homosexuals are bashed and treated severely for you to undermind that with your pettiness. Shame on you!!!

    Rosie is being sensitive to Clay because he is just coming out - Kelly was the one who was rude for not giving Clay a chance to talk and owes him an apology. Kelly wasn't homophobic - whe was just ticked off that he had the nerve to put his hand over her mouth. It was the word "honey" and the inflection that was the clue here. I think that she was that mad that she was reaching out for a sensitivity on Clay's part and I do think the "honey" w/inflection was a reference to him being Gay. I believe that Regis has put his hand over her mouth in the past & I hope someone does look for the tapes and can see the difference in reaction. But, she may just be like "who do you think you are you young kid" and just added the "honey" w/inflection as a secondary jab.
