I want to say that I understand the Asian culture. They are sub-servant to the male culture. John was the man in charge of the decision to split the beetles. Ono didn't break up the band, John did. and he had his reasons. John wanted everybody to be equal but he never took into consideration what people saw as their power over others. As long as somebody seems to be in control, everybody else follows suit. It is easy to blame as long as we are blind.
