    Look, I fucking hate Joe Rogan! He has done so little for comedy it is actually quite laughable that he is calling out an equally shitty comedian. That being said, I am glad the George Lopez knocked Mencias ass out, Mencia is not good enough to clean Lopez's shoes. That being said, I was a little pissed off that Rogan was critcizing Mencia's heritage. That has nothing to do with stealing a bit. Those of you that say that Mencia was doing more with the bits than that other guy obviously dont understand how important a bit is in stand up. This sort of act is just like treason. Although it could be brought forward that he stole bits and then changed his name to a more "hispanic" sounding name to get his show on Comedy Central. We all know that Mencia was brought in to conteract the leaving of Dave Chappelle. Those who fall for Mencia's stupid comedy should know better.

It's not like jokes are intellectual property. just like how I'm going to write a new book. its called Hary Poter and the Wizard's Rock.     It's about time someone had the balls to call Mencia (not his real name, go figure) out. Stealing is stealing I don't care how you cut it. All the true comedian's in the industry write their own shit. This is what makes them who they are. So, what does that make Mencia 'a theif'. Don't get me wrong, Carlos has a stage presents about him thats appealing to many of the folks out there. He could be great if he'd only take the time to write his own shit. Or, have someone write his material for him. It's not unheard of. Some of the greatest comedian's ever had much of their stuff written for them. Doesn't make them any less of a comic. At least the material is original. So for Christ sakes Carlos....make it your own. And, in the process you'll gain the respect of your peers.

    I'd just like to add to lamitchw's comment in saying that every stunt on Fear Factor, Joe was the first to try, see, when they do a stunt, every person on the crew has to try it out to keep it fair for the contestants, and Joe never once backed down from one, so stuff that in your crack pipe and smoke it petey. Now, I personally don't like Joe's stand up, he's got some funny ones, but for the most part, I don't enjoy him, and I don't enjoy his commentary for UFC, but I will say that the man at least writes his own crap, Carlos doesn't write his own crap because he's afraid of a dead silence or even getting booed, hey, thats all part of the business. Bottom line, Mencia sucks, and Mind of Mencia sucks ass, it will NEVER replace Chappelle's show, Mencia is nothing more than a wanabe mexican version of Dane "not funny" Cook. And also, lamichw, you're right, he could have beat the crap out of Carlos, he is a black belt in tae kwon doe, and a champion in the sport, but kudos to him for keeping his cool, Carlos just doesn't like being put on the spot like that, and thats why Rogan did it, to show the WORLD for the fraud he is.     If Carlos Mencia is this generation's George Carlin, then the end of the world is near. Mencia is not funny, he shouts his jokes, they arent well timed, ive watched his show a couple of times and not once did i laugh out loud. George Carlin was, and still is a genious. Carlos is a theif. NEVER compare the two as if they are equal.

    Anybody who thinks its not a big deal when a comic steals jokes shouldn't bitch when they get passed over for promotion, because a co-worker steals credit for their work. Carlos Mencia isn't the first comedian to do this and be successful. I've heard a lot of comedians bitch about Robin Williams too.

    This is why Dane Cook and Jerry Seinfeld are so successful. They talk about shit that nobody will ever steal. Mencia sucks, regardless of whether he steals jokes or not. He uses the word beaner like 9000 times per act and he can't expand on any other topics. I personally don't like Joe Rogan he is being a little obsessive, but he holds up under pressure better than most comedians.     I hear different comedians tell similar jokes with their own twists on them all the time but never bit for bit. Just like singers, rappers, etc.. there are bound to be some similarities, you cannot be TOTALLY original all the time but I think the issue is that Carlos Mencia is stealing complete jokes, not just talking about things that have already been talked about. I am a huge fan of comedy and have never seen anything like this. Yes, all comedians talk about race, money, kids, police, etc.. but they usually prepare their own jokes about these subjects which makes it okay to talk about something that's already been talked about. This video proves that Carlos is a fraud for stealing jokes bit for bit. Kudos to Joe for exposing it. If there are SO MANY comedians out there pissed about the same dude stealing jokes, there has to be some validity to the claims. Not to mention the footage that clearly reflects other comedians doing those same jokes on earlier dates. Carlos' career is over after this, and rightfully so.
