Description: Tom Selleck gives a wife beater one last chance.

Jesse Stone (Tom Selleck) has settled into his job as police chief of the small fishing town of Paradise, MA, after being fired by the Los Angeles Police Department. As the story begins, Stone is charged with solving a homicide when the body of a teenage girl is discovered drowned in a lake.
