    Usually cute characters tend to pull the girls in. I know for a fact that Mario Galaxy has been the turning point for some girls into the video gaming world. With all the options to turn into cute little characters like bees and springs it plays on the female emotional plane. The next step I would say is to slowly introduce some different games which play on her strengths. Keep in mind there are opportunities which you can use to drive the gamer side in her. For example grudges and conflicts that you may have with her you suggest the idea of sorting it out through a match in the gaming world. The more you do this the more her love of the gaming world will grow. From personal experience the ladies love the Wii because they actually feel like they are in the game not just mashing buttons. Also if she is a health freak the Wii again is right for her because of the versatility of the system with Wii Fit. Hope some of this helps.

    I'd suggest Fantasy game as a way to get girls in. Not just RPG like the final fantasy serise but DnD style games such as Dungeon seige - I'd leave the fps version like oblivan till after she really gets into them to move her more into fps games and then take it from there :)
    Another game genre I'd suggest is horror games, both watching and playing. I think it'd be best to think about what type of girl she is, some girl would scare them selves to death then again it like some girls I know that if you show them cute character pull there faces.

    I'm going of the games I managed to get my friends to play, sadly I cant go off by own experience as I've been gaming all my life.

    If anything, I found it easier to do more co-op than competitive play. While competitive matches are enticing to play, having your girlfriend involved in helping each other also helps build that bridge. Cause what would she rather do: Watch you, perhaps, willingly let her win in Smash Bros by you not trying, or playing with you in co-op reaching the end of Legendary in Halo, which involves you giving her jobs she feels involved by doing?

    I realize everyone is different, but many of my girl friends liked playing co-op games with the guys.

    Lol if we're watching this video then gaming is our escape. So if that is true then I don't believe that the person would have a girlfriend/wife lol im j/king just stereotyping...

    I find this whole attractive girls in gaming stuff so contrived. Video games have become such a money maker
    nowadays the gold diggers want a piece of the action. I betcha wendy could care less about video gaming - she's getting paid to hang around loser dudes who think they even have a chance at Wendy. Pretty lame guys !
    Go back to modeling as hood orniments at car shows!

    come on,, there are far better things to do with your girl than play games, and im not saying it has to be dirty, im just saying playing with some one is always better if its with you friends,and to have your girl over and start to play is justa a waist of time, its better not to invite her in the first place, and its to much of a problem trying to convince her of playing games, so its better to do other things..... and by the way playing with girls is much better with party games and with a lot of people

    I like the video in general. I think it's cute. Short and simple. Clear and straight forward.

    Generally in my experience, people (girls and guys) either like games or they don't.

    I also wonder if Wendy is really a gamer or a cute hired actress to do this video....

    I saw the little image at GT, thought "Heh, this could be interesting", I clicked.



    I forgot about it, found it when I got back to my computer, watched it, noticed Batman Begins in the background, got rather annoyed everytime a new scene took place and forgot about the video itself.



    I might be rather... easily distracted.

    the guy under me is rite ..but the other guys who said dont let ur girl play is wrong... ok maybe some girls dont like playing but some actually do so its better to find out then to leave her out ... u can get closer to ur girl by playing some games together im a GIRL i kno it can ....so try it out b4 u say its better without ur girlfriend...

    This is silly -___- There's a lot of girls who likes to play videogames. I mean, I've been playing since I was little and why do you guys have to list up typical girls games? Just because we happen to like the sims, it doesnt mean we dont play mgs, halo, wow and other stuff that you apparently see as guy games. And if your gf dont like games, why do you have to get her into it so badly? Isnt she worth it if she doesnt play? Is it so hard to just let her play if she wants and she'll see if she likes it, if not, she shouldnt have to get into it *sighs*



    This really is a guys world we're living in, where everything is for guys. Do we desperatly try to get our bfs to get into something that you might see as typically girly? no we dont. If your gfs dont like videogames, let them be for fuck's sake. If you want someone to play with so badly, why not call one of your friends..if you have any.



    and besides, N30NL, or whatever you're called, why would you let your gf win? isnt that like saying that she's weak and not as good a gamer as you are? -____-



    And it's also stupid that people seem to think that videogames is a guy thing, while very many girls likes it too..

    I think the characters that appear in some games give a little help and the appearances of games like Wii Fit also mean that girls are more empathy with the games.

    Ratchet and Clank online for the Playstation 2 is always good to get your girl into gaming. I still play Ratchet and Clank online for PS2, but I'm a dude and I have saw many, many girls playing R&C online.

    I just found a girl that already was into games. Leads to some really interesting discussions too. She just finished portal a few months back and loved it. We are both excited for LittleBigPlanet, Lego Batman, and the new Prince of Persia.

    For any of you that HAVEN'T tried the lego games yet: you owe it to yourself to play it and play it co-op. Not to mention girls seem to really like it

    I didn't even see this video before I got my girlfriend into video games, but I can say from experience that these are, for the most part, the same methods I used, so I confirm the credibility of what Girls says!

    And get this...my girlfriend is hooked on God of War! Beat that! haha

    I could go on forever about it, but to keep it short, we're having an awesome time. She's played most of the game with just me watching, and while I give her tips, she's figuring it out! To make it a "together thing" I'll play certain points on God Mode and let her observe, and then she'll play the same parts on Easy Mode.

    Furthermore, it's inexplicably hot to see my girl beat the crap out of the enemies and use her wits to solve the puzzles, especially the ones found on God of War!

    (1) She already played Mario games before we started dating so that was helpful.
    (2) She and I both love Greek mythology and 300 was our first movie together.
    (3) The game reflects her my mind, and she'll go almost any extent to familiarize herself with her boyfriend.

    AND she's a Hawaiian Hottie!

    So thanks for making this video Girls!

    Letting her beat the crap out of random monsters while playing FEAR was the trigger for my girlfriend. And if you have a girl who goes OOOO every time she sees a brain leave its place, blood is the way of making her a gamer!
