This looks pretty cool, and I can believe it even though it's pretty out there. Just one thing bothers me though. There's a cut in the film just before they reveal the newly cleaned CD. How do we know that it's the same CD?

Could this be a hoax? I'm imagining somebody who made a bet that he could convince hundreds of people to smear a bananas onto their CDs.

Although metacafe is generally a reputable source, has anyone tried this solution?
