You've captured the pure darkly sinister essence of the gotham comics. I was shocked to see Superman as a villian but the plot blends perfectly.

I like this premise, but what wasn't he Nightwing? Alternate storyline? Too bad the other robins aren't in this. THAT would be an interesting twist if Grayson, Todd and Drake all reacted to Batman's death. Wonder Woman, Lantern etc were odd to add in but I really like the playoff with Superman as the corrupt 'villain' role.

As of now this film is not going to be made because of disputes over Warner Bros. letting John Fiorella produce the film. I'd bet that if enough people send letters and e-mails...they'd work it out and make the movie...it would be a huge money-maker and most important a great film...especially if you love the DC universe comics.

I am super sicked everytime I see this and have had other people checked this out. I only wish Instead of him being Robin he would of grew into the older Dick Grayson that every one knows and love, Nightwing! it would of took on an new hero aproach. remember you guys said former boy wonder, so people who know the DC world would expect Nghtwing. Any way it's still great and will continue to watch this trailer, anticipating its release. great job

I love the old school look of this film with the old costumes, and not new like the Batman movies that we have seen.... What a trip Superman with Fenders (gray hair). I have showed this to the people that i work with and they all say the same thing.... the comic book fan in all of them comes forward and asks "when is this coming out??" The joker looks nuts.... that actor must have a hell of a set of lungs and vocal chords too laugh like that all the time. We need movies like this and now is the time DC and Marvel!!!!

A very good Idea for a movie but like everyone has said robin turns in to nightwing. But if this ever does make it I would be 1st in line to see it.

The Nightwing thing's really not an issue; you can tell by the costumes, the photo of the young batman and robin and the little details (police chief O'Hara?) that this is in an alternate timeline set after the golden years, or at least that's very much the impression I get. I think it's that much stronger for it - it's taken that wonderfully innocent period and poured the corruption of time onto it - the result feels like a violation, and gives the impression that Robin's fighting for more than just Batman, but the whole simplicity of the moral justice he stood for.
As for Superman; well, that's lifted right out of The Dark Knight Returns. But I think that's only fitting - there's no way Batman could die without superman being involved somehow.

I agree with the above. To see a grown up Robin running around in the old costume is a little silly. It would have been better as Nightwing or (as in alternate worlds) a new version of the old costume. The rest of it looks good. I wonder why Clark's hair isn't gray ...if anything he should look older than as Superman, since Supes seems to age slower. Too bad they can't work out the kinks as the movie definately could make some money.

very cool. i think its a bit much seeing Wonderwoman and Green Lantern in this. but i guess Robin was on such a rampage that the whole JLA was sent in to stop him. and i have to disagree, i dont think using Robin is silly at all. its actually quite original, because the majority of the fans, along with their mother, wants to see Nightwing. that would have been another boring mainstream storyling. kudos to you John Fiorella.

Great storyline But I gotta agree that he should maybe stumble across the old Robin suit, then create the NightWing one! But again great concept and I only wish Warner Bros would greenlight this. NICE work!

They should have stopped with Robin.
Oh well, it might turn out to be good anyways.
I doubt it though.

When I first saw the picture for this trailer, I was upset, because i thought Robin was going to be in the next movie of the new Dark Night series, and I think it will ruin the series if he was in it. I quickly found out that wasn't the case, and i loved the trailor; kodos to John Fiorella. I like just about everything about the movie. Just the fact that Robin would have his own story, even if it is at first about batman. Seeing superman as a villian is quite the welcomed change in events; It is nice to see that perfect bastard has some flaws, and that could be a whole other story in it's self. It is a little much tough, with all of the villians and superheros, I just don't think it can be pulled off in one movie, but I don't know if the story line supports sequels. All in all I would love to see this movie get made, but it would have to wait a while with the new series and all. However that could be a benefit to it, and maybe the two films could work together, if they tie in some pieces of grayson into the last movie of the new series. Then again, the Dark night series is based on a much more on reality
