    Not really much to say on this game.

    The story is great, just as the first one. But that's just it, it feels like I'm still playing the first one, with a few visual upgrades, and a few little tid-bits hear and there. Sorry to say, not much has changed. Although I was quite entertained while holding an enemies body in front of me while charging the front lines :D

    No chance of this winning unless hundreds of desperate fanboys vote for it. This game was a big disappointment and was way too over hyped. Graphics were same, gameplay was the same, story was still mediocre and only a couple new features. SPIKE has no idea of what is really going on in the Video game Industry, they just put up the biggest names for nominations, nothing really changes every year. Little Big Planet shouldn't even be nominated, its a kids game and it becomes boring after minutes of playing it. Good try though spike.

    I found this game BORING!!!!!!!!! Gears of War is not the true GoW, the true GoW is God of War, so stop saying GoW when you talk about Gears of War.

    as S3117 said, "fanboys vote and its a sure win". This game falls desperately short from the mark. More like Tears of War. I hope this game doesn't win cause that would be like kissing your sister.

    The story really doesnt cut it, the writers had excessive characters like the chick in the first first Gears of War who at the beginning looks at Marcus like they were once a couple and now they're on the front lines together, OOH big deal!! Epic Games, sorry but after i graduate from College with my Bachelor's for Art and Design, you guys will not be on my list of game companies i will want to apply for. I'm already thinking Valve, Konami America and maybe Bungie.

    idk why i dont click with diz game, its just like da first one except dat da first one was better, but diz is just da same thing, just a copy of da first version, i think RESISTANCE 2 its way better and have more storyl-line

    i dont kno wat u ppl saying the multiplayer and graphocs havnt changed are smoking but the multiiplayer has changed so much.... ther is actually strategy in it now. the graphics improved alot (better lighting)

    GoW 2 is amazing!!! There is tons of new things added to the game and the graphics are amazing but a few things need to be fixed but than again has there ever been an online game that was perfect the day it came out and this game comes close. After an update it will be PERFECT!!!!

    GOW2 is only half a game. The single player and co-op are good as well as Horde mode in multi-player. The rest of multi-player is a big lemon. Too many glitches and problems with maps. Is there a category for games that should be recalled?

    Last year Bioshock and Call of duty 4 modern warfare won Game of the year according to various gaming critics, and the list that has gathered this year is Great , All great games, but clearly the true deserving overall Game of the year has got to be Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the patriots ( ! )

    BEST game ever on ANY system...PERIOD. I love how all the Pee s 3 fangirls like to say only fanboys will vote this game..well lets see...EVERY game magazine in publication has stated that the Graphics in Gears of War 2 are some of the best ever..Pee s 3 fangirls are just sad that they bought the overhyped overpriced ps3 and got stuck with nothing good to play except XBOX 360 hand me downs...Anyone who says the graphics are the same as last year are either blind, dumb or a combo of both.     This looks like a great game, however, i do not own a XBOX 360, i don't particularly like their games, however i just seem to notice that the same 3 games keep coming up in each category. I'm sure there are other games that could be considered.

    MGS4 for Game of the Year, and I agree mast3rmind



    Call of Duty W@W should be in place of this game, this game isnt on MGS & GTA's level



    ppl just buy into the hype when the reality is MGS & GTA were THE best and the only reason GTA may not win is to please the parents, but MGS should win it anyway



    LittleBIGPlanet shouldnt even be in here or Fallout 3, are you serious?



    they put THAT up against a revolutionary stealth game with storyline quality like no other that is the MGS series and a revolutionary game like GTA with so much to do, so many places to go and that so many games have copied like Saints Row & True Crime tried, but no. Snoop was the best thing about the game



    so MGS4 (the last of the series and one helluva game) for Game of the Year!!

    C'Mon man, quit being such ridiculous fanboys....When I went to get COD5 (November 15th), someone was already returning it saying that the online was absolutely horrible but the story was good and some other guy in Gamestop said "Ya the online does really suck".

    The game is alright, but not GOTY material...Im a PS3 supporter, (ya ya ya go ahead yell at me and call me a fanboy) but LBP was a hell of alot more creative, fresh and interesting concept than Gears. Quit being blinded by your fanboyism.

    What I think about this game it sucks.... every time i go into multiplayer mode online i always die because of some guy just waiting to kill some one -.- they can hear you walk its so stuiped...

    There is no strategy in the multiplayer of this game its just chainsaw chainsaw chainsaw. Gears one you had sniping you cant even snipe hardly in this game without chainsawed. I can not see this as game of the year but the fan boys will win it just like they did for Halo3

    I've tried this game, and i can't say much about it as i haven't played alot, but the story didn't feel that good. It was just lame and i didn't get into it. The gameplay feels weird and i can't understand why everybody was so hyped about this game. I can't imagine the first one being any better either, since gameplay is problably the same. No. I gave it a 6/10, meaning it's problably more like an OK game, but that's like it.

    Very good game better than its first one. But cannot be compared to the other games out there like fallout 3,MGs4 and GTA 4.

    There's much better 360 games than this.

    Oh well, chalk up a win for MGS4.

    Best story in video game history. Graphics are simply revolutionary. (The cutscene graphics are the in-game graphics)

    The atmosphere of the game, dare I say it, makes you feel courageuos, and courage is SOLID!



    Oh and the guy that said Gears sold 3 mil copies in 3 weeks.

    MGS4 sold twice that in 3 weeks.
