Description: It was an unusually warm evening on January 24th, 2008, in the town of Phenix City Alabama. Even residents in the nearby Columbus Georgia felt this disturbing vibe that was hanging overhead like a storm cloud waiting to strike. Many attributed this to a recent string of storms in the area, while others, believed Hot Like Lavas incredible winning streak has finally reached a sizzling fever pitch. However, almost no one could've guessed, that the temperature was attributed to none of those things, but rather an upstart team of J-rod and Tex Monroe, who against the best efforts of Quentin MIchaels, were about to set the tag team scene, on fire. A candidate for match of the year 2008, revisit one of the most memorable moments in GCW history, as Hot Like Lava defended their tag team championships, against Tex Monroe, and J-rod. (less)
