On the contrary, zaelae. There are several success stories of people connecting online through various online dating sites. Currently in a four year successful, loving relationship with someone I met at an online dating site. You just have to know what you are looking for, how to weed through the possibilities, and do your homework. Most importantly stay safe, take your time, talk on the phone soon after meeting online (use a cell number or calling card for safety), and meet in person in a VERY PUBLIC place each time until you are sure of the person you are considering dating on a regular basis. Remember, follow your gut instinct; if you don't feel good about meeting then don't. Go on a group date where your friends are nearby for support. It can be done and this attempted comical video proves nothing about online dating. For those of you looking, have fun and best of success!
