    A beautiful film, but not your best work. Why? Because Kurosawa is ALREADY revered, as is Seven Samurai. In High Desert Error, you elevated something everyone thinks is garbage, and showed that it is art. That is a service, and a brilliant insight, brilliantly expressed and titled. Go back to your core. And bring it.

Description: The seven Samurai is my favorite all-time film. It took more than a little nerve to edit it at all not to mention changing certain sequences. Trying to imagine how I could further convey the feelings behind the scenes and what they mean to me, I selected a piece of music that made me feel the same as this battle in the rain. I liberally edited Death Cab For Cutie's brilliant "Transatlanticism" into a shorter building track that left out the vocal verses. This mash-up is far from perfect in terms of what I wanted it to be, but I'm proud enough of how it turned out to post it. I have ideas of making it again sometime next year when i have my own computer with better editing programs and hopefully, more time. (less)
