Description: Can cannibalism lead to love? In the dark-comedy style of Creepshow and Tales from the Crypt, Food for Thought (one of only 18 short films purchased by HBO in 2001) features Emmy nominated actor David Ogden Stiers (MASH) as the professor who teaches his class that worms can acquire the knowledge of other worms by digesting their brain matter. One student (Brian David Cohen) decides to put it to the test with humans, and each time the pretty classmate he's trying to win over (Emily Harrison) suggests there may be some quality he could have that she would be attracted to, his hunger for knowledge grows. With a twist ending, Food for Thought is sure to make you laugh and squirm while your stomach growls. (less)
