Description: First Look: GUNNIN' FOR THAT #1 SPOT featuring Final Four phenom Kevin Love of the UCLA Bruins. Directed by Adam Yauch (of the Beastie Boys), the documentary follows eight of the country's premiere high school basketball players as they play on the world¿s most famous outdoor court: Rucker Park in Harlem -- a place where nicknames are branded and legends are made. Blending this next generation of b-ball players with a mix of raw hip-hop, jazz and break beats, Adam Yauch¿s unique kinetic filmmaking makes GUNNIN¿ an explosively entertaining look at soon-to-be NBA All Stars. In addition to Love, the film also includes Michael Beasley, Jerryd Bayless, Donte Greene, Kyle Singler, Brandon Jennings, Tyreke Evans, and Lance Stephenson. GUNNIN¿ will be released in theaters by Oscilloscope Pictures on June 27th, 2008. (less)
