    By far the most addicting game made yet. I had pre ordered both fallout 3 and far cry 2 and i love this game so much more. Game of the year hands down. the V.A.T.S (Vault-tec Assisted Targeting System) keeps killing fun. (if killing someone would be fun.) If you don't get this then your not a true gamer.

    Fallout 3 is a pretty fun game, but I feel that MetalGear Solid 4 is clearly superior to it in every way!

    Once i heard that Bethesda was making another RPG, i seriously ran to my gamestop and pre-ordered it. This game (which i havent played yet), if made better than Oblivion, will clearly be my favorite for a time.

    I pre-ordered this and it doesn't dissapoint. My favorite game of all time was the original Deus Ex until Fallout 3 came out. There are alot of elements from Deus Ex in this game. I believe someone who voiced Deus Ex also did some voices on Fallout 3 but I'm not certain. I am certain that Fallout 3 is definitely a must have for any gamer.

    This is a must-have game for anyone that enjoys any type of gaming. The graphics are very realistic and everything is so very detailed. The enviroment is so much like what you would expect from a Mad Max type of post-apocalyptic earth. There is so many landmarks and points of interest for you to explore, youll spend countless hours exploring every little detailed area. It has actually made me put down World of Warcraft and wrack up 50+ hours of gameplay, and I still have so much more I want to do in it. Everyone should give this amazing game a shot.

    I've played fallout 1 & 2 since I was a little boy and those where the days so when I heard about fallout 3 I could not wait till it came out. I recently bought the PS3 with fallout 3 and played it 24/7. This is from fallout 1 to fallout 3 the best game ever because every decision you make will influence the game and it start when you just begin playing.

    Game of the year, strongest storyline, game play, and graphics it will be the most nominated game throughout the VGA awards, should it no win G o the Year? Here is why, your a boy, and you can have a Mohawk. Your a man, you can smash other dudes heads in. You have the Pip boy... Oh and Vats the targeting system which lets you shoot grenades out of the air, limbs from bodies, and well of course.... paint the walls with brains, you know cause this is all the same old stuff in games? *COUGH* Gears 2 *COUGH*

    so yall know, you cant vote for anything. the votes were made by the VGA Advisory Council, made up of a group of the most, well-respected experts in the industry. Games released between December 2, 2007 and December 1, 2008 were eligible for nomination.es were made

    I have Fallout 3 and i must say I was not impressed. I got tired of walking around and looking for people and looking for the right door to go through. the graphics and fighting and story are pretty good but I must say that Metal Gear Solid 4 is the one I'm pulling for. it is better in every way

    Those so-called experts need to find another line of work. Although I love playing the game (over 150 hours across 3 different characters), it needs a lot of TLC. I won't go into the massive amounts of bugs in the quests (Due to Spoilage) Just go to Bethesda's web site and some of the other Fallout Communities for the in-depth discussions.

    True to the Fallout Series, IMHO, NO! From my viewpoint no one from the development side ever played the Original Fallout games. Just a shoddy imitation of some very fine works.

    The game should not have been called Fallout 3. By any other name, I would have had no problems at all (aside from the aforementioned broken quests).

    Personally, I do not think you could rate Fallout 3 amongst other RPG's. I have played multiple RPG's, and Fallout 3 would not be a game i would consider to fall in that category. You wanna see RPG's, talk to Mr. Yoichi Wada, he can direct your path in that direction.

    This is not just a RPG I think is more like an "interactive" FPS

    Is so nice play 4 times this game and get a very different story on every one

    Yep, Fallout 3 is the best bang for the buck since, well, Fallout 1 & 2. Never played a Bethesda game before, but they have done a great job of moving the Fallout franchise into the 23rd century ;)

    easily the game of the year, gears 2 was crap cause in comparison with the original gears its nothing. bethesda beat them in 06 and they can do it again, as for gta4 its a great game but nothing special... the concept of fallout 3, and the style of playing will keep you at your console(or watever ur playing on) for hundreds of hours

    Unlike FalloutFanboy above me, I disagree sloightly with his comment. I have to give Game of the Year to GTA4. Overall, I feel that GTA4 deserves the win in overall marks and playability.



    I do however feel that Fallout3 will and should win the best xbox360 title for the year in this category. Great game, original and mad fun. I would make the main quest longer, outside of that this is a must have!!

    you make a good argument. I understand why you would think GTA4 would be a good candidate for Game Of The Year but i still think Fallout 3 deserves the title. Its just a difference of opinion and i respect yours. =]

    Best RPG out there. If u are an RPG lover this is a game that will safisfy u at any means! Fallout 3 could also possibly be game of the Year. Also its a good shooter! i got the 360 version of the game and looks fantastic!

    i love fallout3.

    i played the original fallout on my computer back in the early 90's.

    this is one of the funnest games ever.



    i'm worried though.

    it got nominated for best graphics.

    i'm really scared.

    i love the game.

    but the game's graphics weren't great.

    they weren't even good.

    they were crappy, blocky, and just

    one of the most glitchy games i've ever seen.

    who nominated this for best graphics should be slapped.
