  Why are some people treating this like a freakin' documentary??? It says in the beginning of the show, the data is changed to protect the deceased, and every video on the show (with the exception of the last one where no one dies anyway) is a RE-ENACTMENT, and obviously they had to condense things to fit it into a @3-minute "skit"--I'm sure the bear wasn't RIGHT there--the dude probably wandered around a while before he found it. C'mon, lighten up.

  Ok I lived in the Palmdale area for 11 years and never have I heard of a bear killing a man. I even tried to do some research on it and found nothing, not even in surrounding areas. There are no bears in Pamldale. There are some in the surrounding mountians.... like angeles forest but it is rare they come that far out. I think this is a load of crap and it makes it hard to believe any of the stories they tell..... and even is this was the case how did they know there were and bunch of furries havin sex out in the desert?? Load of crap.

  I'm a furry and have been to several conventions. This show actually shows quite evidently that it was completely made up, what are the chances of finding a black bear in a desert? Let alone getting close to a fire or noisy people. and most people even if involved in something such as what was portrayed would not just sit back while a guy screams in terror at being torn apart. Now, as far as furries go, I won't presume to lie and say stuff like that doesn't happen, cause it does. Within any community you will have those that are only there expressly for the carnal natures of things. These types of furries, however, do not represent the whole of the community, I've never found a convention that didn't specify in the rules as a G rated event. When furs engage in such activities at a convention, it is done in a private area such as someone's hotel room, they do not just do whatever in a place where the public can stumble upon them, and the room party is usually by invitation only, or is announced in places that only people who want that can find out. Even though sex is a part of life even in the furry community, it is not the major draw for a convention. There are also the games, dances, and sense of community. Then there's the whole art and comic book section of the event. The talent show is a great panel at the event as well as the charity auction.

  I'm a furry and I must say I found this pretty damn funny. It's such a gross misinterpretation of the furry culture that is actually funny. True, there are some furries that do this kind of thing, but they are a minority. Being a minority in the furry community, they tend to be the loudest and usually end up giving all furries a bad name... which can be somewhat annoying.
