After watching the first Ed-Wood-A-Thon I got quite interested in his work and stuff so i picked the Tim Burton's movie Ed Wood.It was really fantastic, one of the best movies I've ever seen.It kinda was a really sad movie about Bela Lugosi and it really make me feel miserable for this old man, something that quite a few movies have accomplished for me.And in the same time it was really uplifting as you said Ed had this never ending motivation and he never gave doing movies no matter how bad they was.
So in conclusion I liked your both reviews and thanks for introducing me tho this strange and in the same time brilliant person.

    "Howard Shore?"

As in "Lord of The Rings" music man Mr. Howard Shore, also wrote the music for the movie "Ed Wood??"

    How cool is that!

Awesome review. Burton's 1994 tribute is his best movie imho and Johnny Depp is stunning as Ed Wood.

And I'm really looking forward to your Shining review ;-)

Another thing that should be mentioned about Ed Wood, although he was panned by for being a filmmaker, he seemed to have had better success as a writer as he wrote wrote dozens of pulp crime, horror, and sex novels because as he became increasingly unable to fund film projects, the novels seem to have become Wood's primary source of income.

I can't say I was ever an Ed Wood fan. Back in the early 90's and up I was really only into the mainstream horror and sci-fi. But even after that I didn't know about Ed Wood till the Tim Burton film. Which I just loved. It was a great story and it DID leave you with a good feeling in your spirit. Ill be happy for any and all future reviews you do James. But I will always be ready for Pee-Wee's Big Adventure if you ever get around to it.

Reminded me how much I love Ed Wood, both his old films and the Tim Burton movie.

¿Throw gold at her¿ that¿s the winning line for me, now I have to get the movie, no matter how much ass it is. And the vampirechick in the other movie with the black dress ¿ does she even have a waist? The impression I get from your review is that I¿m going to force the spouse to open her ¿Ed Wood¿ DVD by Burton (it¿s become a dustcollector) and watch it. So overall a good review ¿ creates an interest. After that I¿ll think about the rest of the movies ¿ except ¿Orgy of the Dead¿! ¿MORE GOLD¿
