Description: A peak at the first 8 minutes of the film.

In the mid and late sixties, the Hollywood studios were in decline. Into this vacuum stepped the young, independent actors and filmmakers who would make American cinema history in the next decade: Coppola, Spielberg, Lucas, Dennis Hopper, Bogdanovich, Paul Schrader, Arthur Penn, Jack Nicholson, Warren Beatty and many others. William H. Macy narrates the screen version of Hollywood insider Peter Biskind's exposé of this explosion.
